Pfeifer Holds Rogers off at Line in Stock Car Thriller at WaKeeney

(Jul. 10, 2025) — Kyle Pfeifer earned his third EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature win of the season at WaKeeney Speedway in thrilling fashion, edging Jason Rogers at the line in a dramatic finish. Pfeifer, who previously won at Colby and Hays, worked the bottom groove to perfection as he and Rogers went side-by-side in the closing laps of the 20-lap main. Troy Burkhart led early until slipping high and falling from contention. Rogers and Brett Berry swapped the lead before Berry encountered issues. Pfeifer pounced, powered low, and beat Rogers by inches. Finishing behind Pfeifer and Rogers was Tathan Burkhart. Colorado Alliance Tour Set for Epic Doubleheader Championship Weekend

By Suzan McCoy CALHAN, Col. (Jul. 14, 2025) — The 2025 Colorado Alliance Tour is set to wrap up in spectacular fashion with a high-stakes, high-horsepower doubleheader weekend that will crown champions in six fierce Speedway Motors IMCA divisions. Race fans will be treated to two nights of action-packed dirt track excitement, beginning Friday, July 18th at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan during the El Paso County Fair.  And concluding with the Championship Night on Saturday, July 19th at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan. Yeager Brothers Go 1-2 in Modified Feature at Sweetwater Speedway

(Jul. 5, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds delivered the most electric action of the night at Sweetwater Speedway on July 5, with 29 cars packing the pit area for a high-stakes showdown. In the end, it was Green River’s Bryson Yeager charging from ninth on the grid to park it in victory lane for his sixth win of the season in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region and second at Sweetwater in 2025. Sanders Rallies from 18th to Win Ralph Bloom Memorial and Freedom Cup Finale at CGS

(July 5, 2025) — Matt Sanders came from 18th on the grid to win the fifth annual Ralph Bloom Memorial and clinch his third consecutive Freedom Cup title at Cottage Grove Speedway. The 33-lap Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature paid $3,333 to win and served as the finale to the 2025 Freedom Cup. Hunter Bloom led early before the race was slowed by a couple of quick cautions. Ray Comer moved into the top spot and set the early pace until 2023 Oregon State champion Trevor Points took over on a restart. Rykhus Wins First of Season at Bumble Bee Nationals

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (Jul. 3, 2025) — Le Center, Minnesota’s Mick Rykhus had long set his sights on the Bumble Bee Nationals. On Thursday night at Kossuth County Speedway, he finally got to celebrate in victory lane with a commanding performance that earned him $1,000 and his first win of the 2025 campaign. Levi Volkert and Charles Prime led the 18-car Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact field to green, with all drivers guaranteed at least $100 to start. Volkert paced the opening circuits until Tyler Thompson took over on lap three, just before a yellow flag slowed the field on lap five. At halfway, Thompson led with Volkert and Rykhus in pursuit. Woods Rockets to Second Straight Outagamie Modified Win

The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event saw Cody Schroeder lead the opening lap from the front row. That lead was short-lived, though, as Skyler Woods blasted the high side on lap two and rocketed into the top spot. Berry Blazes Field in Marshalltown Modified Main Event

Dustin Kroening sat on the pole, with Jake McBirnie to his outside. But it was Marshalltown native Tom Berry Jr. who made quick work of the field, grabbing the lead early and leaving the rest behind. Berry cruised to a dominant win in the 20-lap finale, while Kollin Hibdon and McBirnie completed the podium.
