
Wayman Bounces Back, Blazes to SportMod Victory

(Jun. 7, 2025) — After a wild crash in his RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main, Cole Wayman rebounded in dramatic fashion during the Days of Thunder Clash at Eagle Raceway with a thrilling charge to the front in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature. Starting 10th, Wayman carved through a tight field and traded the lead multiple times with McClain Reed and Aiden Floyd. He ultimately used the middle groove to complete the winning pass with six laps remaining and never looked back. Reed held on for second while early leader Floyd finished third.
