Probst Powers From the Back for Arlington Hobby Stock Win

(June 28, 2025) — Despite morning rain showers that challenged track prep for Holtmeier Construction Night, fans at Arlington Raceway were treated to a thrilling night of racing filled with dominant drives, dramatic comebacks, and season-first wins. Cory Probst refused to let a second-lap caution define his night. Sent to the back of the pack, the defending champion sliced through the field, passing 15 cars on his way to victory—his 16th B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region win of 2025 and fifth at Arlington. Brad Becker led early, trailed closely by Ben Davis and Chad Volk. Probst took the lead on lap eight, while Volk made a last-lap pass to finish second. Davis was third and Becker settled for fourth. Pounds Prevails in Emotional McGowan Memorial Win at Bakersfield

(Jun. 28, 2025) — Brad Pounds delivered an emotional victory in Saturday’s 30-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature, capturing the $1,032-to-win Richie McGowan Memorial at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. The win marked Pounds’ second of the season at Bakersfield Speedway and in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region, coming in tribute to his late father-in-law. Pounds and Bryan Clark shared the front row for the main event, with a four-wide battle on the opening lap quickly sorting out in Pounds’ favor. He took command of the race while Jake Pike gave chase using the high line through lapped traffic. Two late-race restarts inside the final 10 laps gave Pike opportunities, but Pounds held on by a car length for the special win. Rob Sanders rounded out the podium. Chelf Scores First-Ever Stock Car Win At Maquoketa

By Jerry Mackey MAQUOKETA, Iowa (June 28, 2025) — Andrew Chelf of nearby Lost Nation has won plenty of Hobby Stock races at his home track, but Saturday night marked his first-ever triumph in the ultra-competitive Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars at Maquoketa Speedway. Chelf ran the bottom side to perfection, holding off a host of challengers for the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory. Veteran Jerry Miles worked the top groove and stayed in contention late but ultimately finished second behind the smooth-running Chelf. Wagner Hustles to Late-Race SportMod Score at Ocean

(Jun. 27, 2025) — Bay Point’s Danny Wagner snagged the lead on lap 18 of the 20-lap Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature and drove away to victory Friday night at Ocean Speedway. Connor Sollis took the initial lead from the outside pole after starting alongside rookie Shane Freeman. Sixth-starting Rob Gallaher quickly carved through the field, passing 2024 track champion Emali Van Hoff for second, then overtaking Sollis for the lead on lap four. Championship contender Bo Crebs slowed on the front stretch to bring out a caution on lap 12. On the ensuing restart, Van Hoff spun in turn one and was hit hard by 14-year-old Landon King, ending both drivers’ evenings. Wagner tracked down Gallaher and made his move to the inside on lap 16. Burmeister Breaks Through as CJ Speedway Returns to Action

The night’s most emotional victory came in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock main event, where Kyler Burmeister raced to his first-ever feature win. Burmeister inherited the lead after a caution involving the front runners and held off a tight pack to claim the win in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Nezworski Navigates to Second Late Model Win of Season

By Mike McGuire DAVENPORT, Iowa (Jun. 27, 2025) — Andy Nezworski picked up his second Sunoco IMCA Late Model feature win of the season at Davenport Speedway. Andy started the 25-lap main from the eighth position. After being mired in fifth for 10 laps, Nezworski used a lower line than others and began to move forward. With five laps to go, Andy got under race leader Dustin Smith. Once Nezworski cleared Smith, he pulled away. Smith held on for second with C.J. Horn taking third in a race that saw no caution flags. Paris Pounces Early in Modified Main Shane Paris scored his first Friesen Performance IMCA Modified victory at Davenport. Paris led all 20 laps of the main after starting in the third position. Woods Outduels Czarneski at Outagamie for First Modified Win of 2025

By Joe Orsini SEYMOUR, Wis. (Jun. 27, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main at Outagamie Speedway saw Cole Czarneski grab the early lead and pace the field through the opening laps. Just before the halfway mark, Skyler Woods muscled his way into the top spot on lap nine. A caution quickly flew at the midpoint of the race, stacking the field back up. On the restart, Czarneski found momentum on the high side and surged back into the lead on lap 13. The two frontrunners dueled door-to-door for several laps before Woods regained the advantage for good on lap 17. Now in its fifth year visiting multiple venues and originally launched in 2017, this year’s tour heads to Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer on Wednesday, July 23; Kossuth County Speedway in Algona on Thursday, July 24; and Boone Speedway on Saturday, July 26. (Jun. 25, 2025) — The second annual Joey Hergott Memorial at Beatrice Speedway is set for Monday, July 14, and will once again feature one of the most lucrative single-night payouts for Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars. With a unique two-stage feature format, the main event offers $3,000 to win each 22-lap stage, with a potential for $10,000 in total winnings, including bonus money. The format will include heat races and B-Mains to set the stage for a 24-car feature. Stage one will consist of 22 laps and pay $3,000 to the winner. After a three-minute break to allow teams to make adjustments, stage two begins.
