Olmstead, Watts,and Sproul Sweep Ellis County Fair Races at RPM Speedway

(Jul. 12, 2025) — The Ellis County Fair featured two nights of intense IMCA racing at RPM Speedway, and the stars came out to shine as Zach Olmstead, Tyler Watts, and Dakota Sproul all pulled off weekend sweeps in their respective divisions. Saturday’s program was particularly special, featuring a multi-groove track and the emotional season debut of Brooke Russell, who honored her late uncle Danny with a tribute wrap on her car. Olmstead Sweeps the Hobby Stocks Zach Olmstead was simply untouchable in the Hobby Stock ranks. Starting up front in Saturday night’s 20-lap main event, he set the pace and never looked back. Early challenges from Cole Schulte and Randie McRoberts faded as cautions bunched up the field. Serbus Scores Third Straight Dan Grams Memorial at Arlington

(Jul. 12, 2025) — Trevor Serbus captured his third consecutive Dan Grams Memorial RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature victory Saturday at Arlington Raceway — and his fifth win of the 2025 season overall, with four coming at his home track. Brandon Allen led the first lap from the pole before a caution came out when the no. 24R car spun exiting turn four. On the restart, Serbus found speed on the high side and charged through the field to take the lead. Once out front, he set a blistering pace. Brett Allen and Brandon Allen battled for second before another yellow waved on lap six. Brett slipped back to seventh on the restart but quickly recovered and advanced back into second. Andersen Dominates Stock Cars at Eagle From Start to Finish

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jul. 12, 2025) — Chad Andersen put on a clinic in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event at Eagle Raceway, leading all 18 laps from the pole. Once out front, Andersen was untouchable, setting a relentless pace and building a lead of nearly three seconds by the time the checkered flag waved. The caution-free contest played perfectly into his hands as the field stretched out behind him. Kyle Vanover gave chase but couldn’t close the gap, finishing a solid second. (Jul. 10, 2025) — Kyle Pfeifer earned his third EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature win of the season at WaKeeney Speedway in thrilling fashion, edging Jason Rogers at the line in a dramatic finish. Pfeifer, who previously won at Colby and Hays, worked the bottom groove to perfection as he and Rogers went side-by-side in the closing laps of the 20-lap main. Troy Burkhart led early until slipping high and falling from contention. Rogers and Brett Berry swapped the lead before Berry encountered issues. Gallaher Pounces for Second Ocean Speedway Win of 2025

(Jul. 11, 2025) — In the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods feature at Ocean Speedway, Yreka’s Bo Crebs blasted into the lead at the drop of the green flag and held the field at bay while drivers jostled for position behind him. San Jose’s Rob Gallaher methodically picked his way forward and moved into second by lap four. The complexion of the contest shifted on lap 12 when Crebs slowed to a stop with mechanical issues, handing the lead to Gallaher. From there, the San Jose driver paced the field the rest of the way to record his second Northern SportMod win of the season—both at Ocean Speedway. Point leader Danny Wagner finished second, followed by Evan Scroggins in third. The event was broadcast live on IMCA TV affiliate Stars On Dirt TV. (Jul. 5, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds delivered the most electric action of the night at Sweetwater Speedway on July 5, with 29 cars packing the pit area for a high-stakes showdown. In the end, it was Green River’s Bryson Yeager charging from ninth on the grid to park it in victory lane for his sixth win of the season in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region and second at Sweetwater in 2025. Sanders Rallies from 18th to Win Ralph Bloom Memorial and Freedom Cup Finale at CGS

(July 5, 2025) — Matt Sanders came from 18th on the grid to win the fifth annual Ralph Bloom Memorial and clinch his third consecutive Freedom Cup title at Cottage Grove Speedway. The 33-lap Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature paid $3,333 to win and served as the finale to the 2025 Freedom Cup. Hunter Bloom led early before the race was slowed by a couple of quick cautions. Ray Comer moved into the top spot and set the early pace until 2023 Oregon State champion Trevor Points took over on a restart.
