Thornton Keeps Back Hibdon at Boone for First Salute to Vets Modified Win

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (July 26, 2025) — Dylan Thornton outdueled Kollin Hibdon in the late stages of a thrilling Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event Saturday at Boone Speedway, earning his first career win on the Hunting with Heroes Salute to Veterans Tour powered by Performance Bodies & Parts. The reigning Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s champion in both the Modified and Late Model divisions, originally from California and now living in Belle Plaine, Iowa, scored his fourth overall win of 2025 in the Modifieds and second in the Razor Chassis North Central Region — both at Boone. Thornton got the jump from the drop of the green and quickly set the tone, but multiple cautions early on interrupted the flow. Full Slate of Vendors Announced for 2025 Speedway Motors Manufacturer’s Row

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (July 25, 2025) — All 46 vendor spots for the 2025 Speedway Motors Manufacturer’s Row have officially been sold out, solidifying the full return of one of the most interactive and influential features of the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, scheduled for September 1–6 at Boone Speedway. Manufacturer’s Row opens Saturday, August 30, during the first night of Super Nationals competition and provides a unique opportunity for race teams, fans, and industry leaders to engage in person. Gaylord Edges DeVilbiss in .020-Second Photo Finish for Modified Glory at Marshalltown

By Kaden Krebs MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (July 18, 2025) – The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds delivered the race of the night at Marshalltown Speedway with a jaw-dropping 20-lap thriller. Zach Rawlins led early before Zane DeVilbiss threw a slick slider to take command. But the show wasn’t over. Tripp Gaylord lit the fuse in the closing laps, slicing through the field and reeling in DeVilbiss after late cautions re-bunched the pack. Mike Mullen Has $10,000 Night with Brian ‘Crutch’ Crutchley Memorial Mod Lite Win

(Jul. 11, 2025) — Mike Mullen scored the biggest victory of his career in Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite competition Friday night at Brewerton Speedway, claiming $2,150 in purse and awards—and an additional $8,000 in the Motor Raffle—at the inaugural Brian “Crutch” Crutchley Memorial. Zach Sobotka and Mullen brought the 24-car field to green for the 33-lap main event, with Sobotka jumping to the early lead. However, a caution flew on lap two, and Sobotka broke on the restart, ending his night early. By lap five, Mullen was in front with points leader Joe Isabell in hot pursuit. Justin Williams, P.O.
