Williams Outduels the Pack to Launch Beast of the East Showdown at Brewerton

(Aug. 15, 2025) — Justin Williams jumped out to the early lead in the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite 25-lap feature, the opening leg of the Second Annual Beast of the East Showdown, with his dad Doug Williams tucked in close behind. After a couple of early cautions, Williams pulled out to a few car lengths by lap five while Doug Williams, Zack Babcock, Ryan Anderson, and Matt Kitts battled hard for positions two through five. By lap 10, Williams remained in command with Babcock moving into second. Doug Williams, Kitts, and Mike Mullen completed the top five. Cautions on laps 14 and 16 erased nearly a two-second advantage Williams had built. Beast of the East Showdown Brings Four Nights of Mod Lite Action to New York Tracks August 15–18

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 14, 2025) — The second annual Beast of the East Showdown is just around the corner, and Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite race fans are in for an unforgettable stretch of four races in four nights at some of New York’s premier dirt tracks. The action begins Friday, August 15 at Brewerton Speedway, continues Saturday, August 16 at Fulton Speedway, then heads to Weedsport Speedway on Sunday, August 17, before wrapping up back at Brewerton on Monday, August 18. Each night offers a $1,500-to-win main event. The first three nights will award National and New York State points, with timed hot laps setting the stage for heat races and the heat race finishes determining the lineup for the features. Points will be tallied across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with the Top 24 in points qualifying for Monday’s championship night. Murty Muscles Past Carter for Stock Car Thriller

By Kaden Krebs MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (Aug. 8, 2025) — The Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event at Marshalltown Speedway was the showstopper of the night, going 20 hard-fought laps. Ethan Atcheson and Dillon Solum brought the field to green, with Solum pacing the opening lap before a quick caution with 19 to go. Solum, Brayton Carter, and Dallon Murty staged an early three-way fight for the top spot until another yellow at lap 16 bunched them again. Carter pounced on the restart, taking the lead with 15 to go, but Murty stayed in striking distance. After a final caution with five laps left, Murty and Carter pulled away from the pack, with David Brandiss and Jimmy Gustin joining the scrap in the closing laps. Veloz Scores Third Davenport Late Model Victory of 2025

By Mike McGuire DAVENPORT, Iowa (Aug. 8, 2025) — Logan Veloz became the first Sunoco IMCA Late Model driver to earn three victories this season at Davenport Speedway. After a long lay-off for the Mississippi Valley Fair, it was back to racing at the facility. Veloz started seventh and moved up to third after five laps. He was in second by lap nine and passed Clay Simpson for the lead on lap fifteen. The win was Veloz’s 10th overall of the year in the Late Model,. Bryce Garnhart would also pass Simpson in the final laps for second. Simpson held on for third. Dierks Doubles Up at Davenport in Modifieds Brad Dierks picked up the win in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds. Brad had to pass early race leader Jace Eckrich to grab the top spot. While those two were dicing for the lead, Spencer Diercks was slowly working his way forward from a sixth-row starting position. Stock Car Slugfest at Marshalltown Goes to Murty in Photo Finish

By Kaden Krebs MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (Aug. 1, 2025) — $1,000 was on the line for the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars at Marshalltown Speedway thanks to Midwest Liquid Systems. Braden Richards and Damon Murty led the 24-car field to green for 20 laps of hard-hitting action. Richards and Murty swapped the top spot over the first few circuits, with Richards gaining a slight advantage. A caution with 13 to go bunched up the pack, but Richards stayed strong up front. Jeff Mueller closed fast and took over with four laps remaining, but it was Dallon Murty who stole the show, surging forward in the final laps and nipping Mueller at the line by just .247 seconds. Alley Returns to Victory Lane at Eagle Raceway

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 2, 2025) — The RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature delivered the kind of finish that fans love — with fan favorite Billy Alley charging to victory in dramatic fashion. Despite making 11 starts at Eagle Raceway this season, Alley had not yet found victory lane until Saturday night. After Hunter Hanson led the opening lap and Trevor Grossenbacher took over on lap 10, Alley took full advantage of a late-race restart and powered to the lead with 10 laps remaining. The move was decisive. From there, he expertly managed traffic and fended off a late charge from Brandon Horton, who sliced his way through the field into second.
