Duggins Charges to Victory in Hobby Stocks at Cortez

(Jun. 7, 2025) — In what was arguably the race of the night at Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, Kyler Duggins of Farmington, New Mexico, stormed through the 20-car Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock field from the eighth starting position to claim his first win of the season in the B&B Racing Chassis Southern Region. Arizona’s Nathan Deragon and Colorado’s Hunter Ferrell rounded out the podium after a competitive and clean feature that kept fans on their feet. Kinzley Captures First 2025 Win in Don Gumke Memorial Thriller

By Becca Pelkey JAMESTOWN, N.D. (June 7, 2025) – Jamestown Speedway hosted the 6th Annual Don Gumke Racers Memorial on Saturday night. Gumke, a racing legend from the Jamestown area, competed for many decades across the country before tragically passing away in January of 2020 while working on his race car. The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds honored his legacy by battling for a $2,222 top prize in one of the region’s competitive events. When the green flag waved, Marcus Tomlinson and Jordan Sours traded early sliders in a spirited duel for the lead. An early caution regrouped the field, and on the restart, Quentin Kinzley found momentum along the high side of the track. Dosch Delivers First Win in Stock Car Thriller at Dacotah

By Becca Pelkey MANDAN, N.D. (Jun. 6, 2025) — When the green flag waved in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature at Dacotah Speedway, Casey Binstock and Matt Dosch battled for the lead. Binstock led early before Dosch grabbed the lead on lap four and pulled away. Binstock started to fall through the field, losing positions to Adam Goff, Geoff Hellman and Brock Beeter. Hellman, who started 10th, passed Goff for second with seven laps to go and set his sights on Dosch. Hellman reeled in Dosch and they raced hard for the win. Coming out of corner four and to the checkered flag, Matt Dosch just narrowly held off Geoff Hellman for the win for his first triumph in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region this year. (Jun. 7, 2025) — After a wild crash in his RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car main, Cole Wayman rebounded in dramatic fashion during the Days of Thunder Clash at Eagle Raceway with a thrilling charge to the front in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature. Starting 10th, Wayman carved through a tight field and traded the lead multiple times with McClain Reed and Aiden Floyd. Following a dominant two-win performance during the Summer Nationals at Spencer, Shryock remained red-hot. In the Stock Car feature, Shryock capitalized on a mid-race caution to power to the front and never looked back. While he controlled the second half of the race, the action behind him was intense as Troy Jerovetz, Parker Slagle, and Justin Ades battled fiercely for position. The rookie started fourth and ran among the leaders for the first half of the 25-lap main event. A lap 16 caution for a three-car pile-up on the front stretch reset the field and opened the door for Morris. On the restart, Morris powered around early leader Chris Lawrence to take command.
