Speedway Motors gift cards go to 59 IMCA rookie winners

VINTON, Iowa (June 27, 2024) – Another 59 IMCA rookie drivers have raced to career-first feature wins this season, earning a $50 gift card from Speedway Motors for taking those checkers. All nine divisions sanctioned by IMCA were represented by the latest group of rookie winners, at 39 different tracks in 21 states. East Moline Speedway hosts $2,000 to win Greg Durbin Memorial for IMCA Modifieds

EAST MOLINE, Ill. (June 25, 2024) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers will chase a $2,000 top prize in a race that remembers one of their own this Sunday at East Moline Speedway. The fifth annual Greg Durbin Memorial on June 30 is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying event with bonuses to include $500 to the second to last place running car on the 28th of 30 laps, $50 to the fifth place car on lap five and to the seventh place car on lap seven, and $25 to the third place car on lap eight. Another $100 will be paid to the Modified driver making the longest tow for their draw/redraw show. Unusual night of races during Off Road Speedway’s regular program

(June 22, 2024) – Interestingly, the feature races at Off Road Speedway’s regular program of racing on Saturday were anything but regular with an abundance of collisions, cautions and curious finishes. There was, perhaps not coincidentally, a full moon looming in the hazy eastern sky. Four attempts were necessary, for example, to begin the first feature of the evening, the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. Polesitter Cole Rosencrans promptly took the lead, but Cameron Wilkinson, with five wins already this season, quickly became a contender by moving up from the fourth row into second place. Within the first six laps, Tejay Mielke joined Rosencrans and Wilkinson in what soon became a three-car battle. Wilkinson finally seized the lead coming out of turn four midway through the 18-lap race, while Mielke looked for chances to pass and Rosencrans remained a close third. IMCA Late Models race for Sunoco bonuses at US 30, Off Road

VINTON, Iowa (June 18, 2024) – A pair of $250 Sunoco Race Fuels bonuses will be awarded this week, to IMCA Late Model drivers racing at Nebraska venues US 30 Speedway and Off Road Speedway. The division title sponsor gives those bonuses, and a five gallon fuel jug, to feature winners Thursday, June 20 at Columbus and Saturday, June 22 at Norfolk. Drivers are eligible to get the bonus one time: In the event of a repeat winner, the runner-up or next eligible driver goes home with the money and fuel jug. Competitive races, close finishes at Off Road Speedway

(June 8, 2024) – The competitive nature of the feature races and a number of close finishes kept fans’ riveted to the finish line during Saturday night racing at Off Road Speedway. Those finishes included Cameron Meyer’s green, white, checkered victory in the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod feature, Cameron Wilkinson’s IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win, and a late pass by Jason Wilkinson to secure second behind Trevor Frisch in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.
