VINTON, Iowa (June 9, 2026) — From the Columbia River on the Oregon–Washington border to the doorstep of California, the 2026 IMCA Wild West Speedweek will push drivers through eight consecutive nights of racing June 13–20. The tour opens at Sunset Speedway Park in Banks and heads south, testing teams across bullrings and bigger layouts before champions are crowned in the finale in Southern Oregon.

Three Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing divisions—Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods—will be in action each night.

Sunset Speedway Park opens the tour on Saturday, June 13, returning to its role as the “Banks Bullring.” Located just outside the Portland metro area, the quarter-mile oval sets the tone for the week with tight racing after weather impacted last year’s finale.

Round two shifts to a new venue, River City Speedway in St. Helens, on Sunday, June 14. Situated near the Columbia River along the Oregon–Washington border, the tight and technical quarter-mile will host its first IMCA-sanctioned event, adding a fresh challenge and new variable for competitors.

Cottage Grove Speedway hosts rounds three and four on Monday and Tuesday, June 15-16, returning to a two-night format. The historic quarter-mile has long been a cornerstone of Speedweek, known for its high-banked surface that produces fast, side-by-side racing and multiple groove options. Its ability to reward both momentum and patience makes it one of the most balanced tracks on the tour.

Coos Bay Speedway follows with rounds five and six on Wednesday and Thursday, June 17-18, bringing the series to the coast. The cooler temperatures and unique setting provide a change of pace midway through the week, while the track itself consistently delivers competitive racing on its tight layout.

Friday, June 19, takes the tour to the largest track of the week at Douglas County Dirt Track in Roseburg. The recently converted dirt facility has quickly become a staple of Speedweek, offering wide racing grooves and the ability to run multiple lanes. Its size and surface create opportunities for three- and four-wide racing while also providing a comfortable viewing experience for fans.

The finale on Saturday, June 20 heads to Southern Oregon Speedway, where champions will be crowned. The facility has become one of the premier stops on the tour, continuing to evolve with improvements to both the racing surface and fan amenities. From strong on-track competition to an enhanced viewing experience, it provides a fitting stage to close out the week.

All events will award Oregon State and IMCA National points in all classes. Modified drivers will compete for DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region points, while Stock Car drivers will race for EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region points.

Fans unable to attend in person can catch every lap live on IMCA TV, where America comes to watch racing.
