EAGLE, Neb. (May 24, 2026) — Before Sunday evening’s racing program began at Eagle Raceway, fans and teams gathered under the glow of light sticks for an emotional Memorial Day weekend tribute honoring both fallen service members and loved ones lost too soon. Names submitted through donations were read aloud following a moment of silence in one of the night’s most touching moments.

Jeremy Mills then delivered a memorable performance of his own in the $2,000-to-win Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature, racing from third to score his first Jet Racing Central Region victory of the season and his third overall win of 2026. The Memorial Madness finale was also a Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational qualifier, placing Mills on the eligibility list for the event to be held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September.

Chad Reid led the opening lap before Mills charged to the front on lap two. Several cautions throughout the event repeatedly tightened the field, including incidents involving Zack Olivia, Clint Homan, Josh Most, and others.

Adam Vrbka, Chad Andersen, and Matt Bonine all spent time inside the top four while the battle behind Mills intensified in the closing laps. Andersen eventually secured second while Vrbka held on for third.

Adam Wasserman delivered one of the strongest drives of the feature, advancing from 10th to fourth. Bonine rounded out the top five while Brandon Verbeek made an impressive 14th-to-sixth charge.

Plowman Prevails in Late Model Main

The Sunoco IMCA Late Models produced a wild feature filled with cautions and position changes before Jon Plowman emerged victorious for his first win of the season.

Drew Baker led the opening laps before spinning on lap five, handing the lead battle over to Logan Cloudt, and Plowman. Multiple Choose Cone restarts and cautions involving Jaydn Friesen, Zach Zeitner, and Brock Carlson kept the field packed tightly together throughout the event.

Plowman finally gained control following a restart and never relinquished the lead despite heavy pressure from the field behind him.

Woodbine, Iowa’s Plowman crossed the line first while Matt Haase rallied from seventh to second. Zeitner advanced from 12th to finish third while Cloudt settled for fourth. Derek Daley completed the top five.

Landauer Holds Off Dowty in Hobby Stocks

Travis Landauer led from the outset of the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature while Trenton Dowty steadily reeled him in during the closing circuits.

Dowty climbed to second on lap three and spent the remainder of the race trying every line possible to catch the Albion driver. Michael Wade and John Cain spent much of the race battling for third while several late cautions bunched the field.

Landauer stayed composed to secure his second B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season and first Eagle Raceway win of 2026.

Dowty finished second while Wade climbed from eighth to third. Cain was fourth and Neil Pella charged from 15th to fifth. Zach Gimpel added a strong 14th-to-sixth run.

Gnat Scores First Eagle SportMod Victory

Aiden Gnat reclaimed the lead late in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature and went on to collect his first career Eagle Raceway SportMod victory.

Gnat led the opening lap before Cole Wayman took command on lap four and appeared headed for victory until mechanical trouble stopped him with only four laps remaining.

That handed the lead back to the Norfolk racer while several late cautions reshuffled the field behind him. Braxton Schmid secured second while Aiden Floyd crossed the stripe third.

Noah Williams produced one of the strongest runs of the night, charging from 19th to fourth. Jacob Swanson rounded out the top five.

Snyder Survives Sprint Car Battle for Eagle Victory

Stu Snyder held off a furious late-race charge from Billy Alley and Shayle Bade to capture the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature.

Snyder led the opening lap while Brandon Bosma, Jason Danley and Nate Weiler battled closely behind him. Bade moved into second early before Alley climbed from ninth and entered the fight for the lead in the closing laps.

The top three ran nose-to-tail during the final circuits, but Snyder stayed smooth out front to earn his fourth overall victory of the season and third at Eagle Raceway.

Alley’s ninth-to-second charge earned runner-up honors while Bade finished third. Danley crossed the stripe fourth and John Klabunde completed the top five.

Gunnar Pike advanced from 16th to sixth while Tyler Drueke made a strong 20th-to-seventh run.
