ROSEBURG, Ore. (July 25, 2025) — Nick Trenchard turned in a dominating performance to capture his first Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature win of the season at Douglas County Dirtrack — and he did it in classic fashion. The Klamath Falls veteran drove the Biehn Racing no. 54N to the checkered flag and earned his first win of 2025 in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region.

In the 25-lap main event, Bennett Bray paced the field on the opening lap until a caution for debris slowed the field. That allowed Trenchard, who started third, to seize the opportunity. On the restart, he threw a big slider into the first set of turns and took control on lap two.

Trenchard quickly checked out and was well ahead of the field when a stoppage on lap 16 slowed the action — the only other interruption of the race. But he was flawless on the restart and drove away to seal the victory.

Multi-time IMCA Wild West Speedweek champion Jesse Williamson rallied from ninth to finish second aboard the SDMF Customs owned no. W5, while California’s Ethan Killingsworth was third.

Henry Hustles to Hometown SportMod Win No. 2

Jordan Henry picked up his second Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod win of the season — both of them coming at Douglas County Dirtrack. The defending track champion from Roseburg came from seventh to pick up the checkered flag in the 20-lap main event.

The race began with Chad Knee grabbing the early lead before a lap two caution regrouped the field. Henry made his move shortly after the restart, charging to the front on lap three and fending off 12th-starting Jason Kocks during a spirited battle. Cautions on laps six, nine, and 14 kept things tight, but Henry nailed every restart.

Once the race settled into a green flag run, Henry stretched out the lead and was never challenged again. Knee managed to beat 2023 Oregon State champion Trevor Points for second.

Stevens Outlasts Bryant for Second Sport Compact Win

Jordan Stevens scored his second Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact win of the season with a drive to the front. The North Bend racer started eighth and held off heavy pressure in the closing laps.

Melissa Bryant led lap one before a lap two caution erased her early advantage. Bid Van Loon used the restart to take over on lap three and paced the field until lap nine, when a mechanical failure ended his race in a cloud of smoke. That handed the lead to Stevens.

Stevens had to deal with reigning track champion Burnie Bryant in the final circuits as the pair entered lapped traffic. But Stevens held strong and survived to the checkers. Bryant was a close second and Rich Dickenson rounded out the top three.
