MANDAN, N.D. (Sept. 27, 2025) — Casselton’s Rich Pavlicek quickly pulled away in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA SportMod feature on the final night of Oktoberfest at Dacotah Speedway. The real battle was for second as Keenan Glasser, Troy Speten and Nathan Speten fought it out.
A series of mid-race cautions regrouped the field, with Nathan Speten slipping past Glasser for second. Glasser rallied, however, and retook the spot with six laps remaining. After coming up short the past two years, Pavlicek finally broke through and parked in Dacotah Speedway victory lane.
Glasser held off Nathan Speten for second, with Chris VanMil fourth and Jayden Pavlicek rounding out the top five.
Satran Survives Caution-Filled Hobby Stock Main
When the green flag waved in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature, it was an early duel between Diezel Raynard and Kyler Satran. Satran grabbed the lead before a caution reset the field, the first of several that slowed the pace.
The restarts worked to the advantage of former Oktoberfest champion Brandon Beeter, who sliced his way forward. On the final restart, Satran, Raynard and Beeter battled three-wide for the top spot. Satran hung tough up front while Raynard and Beeter waged their own side-by-side war for second.
At the checkers it was Satran with the victory, Raynard edging Beeter for second. Max Beeter ran fourth and Beth Ann Goudy completed the top five.
Strand Holds Off Seidler in Stock Car Thriller
Shawn Strand and Jason Berg battled wheel-to-wheel for the early lead in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature before Strand gained the advantage. Berg then fell under pressure from Kyle Schlopp and Scott Gartner, who was charging forward on the high side.
Gartner and Berg traded second while veteran Marlyn Seidler powered his way through the field using the low groove. With three laps to go, Seidler slipped by Berg for third, then moved into second at the white flag.
Coming out of the final corner, Seidler dove low under Strand in a drag race to the line, but Strand held on for the dramatic victory. Seidler settled for second ahead of Berg, Gartner and Brennor Grinstead.
Hagen Makes It Three Straight Oktoberfest Titles in Modifieds
The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds closed out the 2025 season at Dacotah Speedway. Track champion Jeremy Keller and Travis Hagen started on the front row, but Keller jumped out to a commanding lead and quickly caught lapped traffic.
Traffic allowed Hagen to close in, and with only a few laps remaining he pounced, passing Keller for the lead just before a late caution. On the final restart, Hagen kept Keller in check to secure his third consecutive Oktoberfest championship.
Quentin Kinzley finished third, with Logan Schmitz edging Crist Pittenger for fourth.
