TIPTON, Iowa (Sept. 29, 2025) — The highly anticipated “Fall Bash” racing spectacular is set to take place this week on the ¼-mile dirt track located on the Cedar County Fairgrounds in Tipton. The annual event, promoted by Darkside Promotions’ Tim Current and Ryan Duhme, has grown into one of Eastern Iowa’s premier racing events.
Wednesday, Oct. 1, will serve as kickoff night with an open practice beginning at 6:30 p.m. Camping setup will be allowed throughout the day and a post-practice party will follow the on-track activity.
On Thursday, Oct. 2, racing will get underway at 6:30 p.m. with a full program featuring Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks.
Friday, Oct. 3, brings the Benny Jamison Memorial for the Modifieds, with Stock Cars, SportMods, and Hobby Stocks also in action. Racing begins at 6:30 p.m.
The grand finale will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, with the Modifieds taking center stage in a main event paying $3,000 to win. Also competing will be the Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and SportMods. Saturday night’s race program will get underway at 5:30 p.m.
Post-race entertainment will take place each night in the Matthews Building, and approximately 30 minutes after the final checkered flag on Saturday, the “Fall Bash” awards ceremony will be held.
Modifieds will be racing for a possible $6,500 to win, and drivers will also be competing for points all three nights with the 2025 Paula Meyer Point Fund awarding $7,000 to the top point earners.
