19th Annual Fall Nationals Set for Oct. 2–4 at RPM Speedway

HAYS, Kan. (Sept. 18, 2025) — The 19th Annual Fall Nationals are set to take center stage at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kansas, on Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 2–4, 2025, bringing three days of racing action to close out the season in style.

The event kicks off Thursday, Oct. 2, with a test and tune for all classes. Friday, Oct. 3, features heats and qualifiers for all divisions, while Saturday, Oct. 4, will be headlined by last chance races and championship features. No hot laps are scheduled on Saturday, with the green flag waving at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and at 5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Five Speedway Motors IMCA-sanctioned divisions will be in action: Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts.

The Modified main event pays $5,000 to win, with $2,500 going to second and $1,500 for third. The Stock Car finale will award $3,000 to the winner, while the Northern SportMods chase a $2,000 top prize. Hobby Stock drivers will battle for a $1,500 winner’s check, and Sport Compacts race for $400 to win. Payouts extend deep through the fields, with healthy starting money guaranteed across all divisions.

On Thursday, general admission is free with pit passes $25. On Friday and Saturday, general admission is $15 and pit passes are $30 each day. Raceceivers and transponders are required, with weekend transponder rental available for $20.

RPM Speedway fans give back during Community Giveback Night

HAYS, Kan. (April 13, 2024) – Planning that began last fall came to fruition Saturday night at RPM Speedway. Fans attending the first race of the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season at the Hays, Kan., track donated enough non-perishable food items to fill five grocery carts and part of a sixth to the Ellis County Community Assistance Center. Those Community Giveback Night donations will be distributed to those in need served by the center, located in Hays. “Almost everybody has been in the position where they needed a little help,” said RPM promoter Chris Sutton. “It was very, very encouraging to be able to give back like this to the community that supports us.” Sutton had helped with similar projects while announcing for Paul Dutton at Hutchinson Raceway Park. Olmstead Cashes in at RPM with Hobby Stock Victory

By Sheldon Wickwar HAYS, Kan. (May 10, 2025) — The Sunoco Hobby Stocks closed out the show at RPM Speedway with Zach Olmstead completing a weekend sweep after winning at Colby the previous night. The B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region standout secured his seventh victory of the season in ten starts, taking command late in the 20-lap main event after a bobble by Dylan Bell opened the door. Olmstead charged from deep in the field to grab the lead and never looked back. Bell, who led for a good portion of the race, settled for second but maintained his stellar season streak of top three finishes in all seven of his starts. HAYS, Kan. (March 12, 2024) – The 12th annual Sunflower Classic brings five IMCA divisions to the traditional season opener at RPM Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $750 to win and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility both Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30. Also on both Sunflower Classic cards are IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods in $500 to win features and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts in $200 to win features. Dirt Returns to Hawkeye Downs for Sept. 27 “Dirt at the Downs” IMCA Event

Batesville Motor Speedway to Host 30th Annual Schoenfeld Headers Mid-America IMCA Stock Car Championship Sept. 25–27

(Sept. 18, 2025) — The 30th Annual Schoenfeld Headers Mid-America IMCA Stock Car Championship returns to Batesville Motor Speedway on Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 25–27, 2025, with three nights of Sunoco IMCA Stock Car racing action and a $20,000-to-win, $1,000-to-start main event. The weekend kicks off Thursday, Sept. 25, with practice at 7:00 p.m. followed by time trials at 8:30. Pit passes on Thursday are $30.
