Moore Masters Grays Harbor for Fourth Victory of 2025

ELMA, Wash. (Sept. 13, 2025) — Seabeck’s Craig Moore took the early lead in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature and used the high side on multiple restarts to hold off Zack Simpson, collecting his fourth Shaw Race Cars Western Region win of the season — all coming at Grays Harbor Raceway.

Brenton Schnitzer charged forward from his 11th starting position and made a last-lap move around Simpson to secure second. Simpson, driving the Josh Muller-owned no. 3 car, settled for third.

Winebarger sails to Modified Nationals checkers at Grays Harbor

By Ben Deatherage ELMA, Wash. (July 13, 2024) – Four wins in four races led to the biggest payday of Collen Winebarger’s Friesen Performance IMCA Modified career. Winebarger topped both his heat races and the $500-to-win race of champions on Friday, then followed with the $7,500 checkers in Saturday’s 25th annual Modified Nationals main event at Grays Harbor Raceway. “The weekend was really good, Winebarger said after leading the caution-free, 40-lap finale start to finish, racing the last 19 times around the track with a broken right front upper control arm. “It was rough. I couldn’t feel my arms afterwards. The last few laps, holding onto the steering wheel, was tough,” he added. “We were still OK, we just slowed down a fair amount. West Coast Modified Clash Brings Two Nights of Racing and Fireworks to Grays Harbor Raceway

(May 14, 2025) — The 6th Annual West Coast Modified Clash will roar into Grays Harbor Raceway over Memorial Day weekend with two complete shows for the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, along with a post-race fireworks spectacular on Sunday night. The Modified Clash kicks off on Saturday, May 24, with a $2,000-to-win feature for the IMCA Modifieds, locking in the top four finishers for Sunday’s $2,500-to-win finale. The SportMods will run two separate, point-paying shows each night, with $600 on the line for each feature. “This is the start of our summer schedule, and we’re excited to showcase the Modified Clash with two nights of intense IMCA Modified and SportMod action,” said Bert Johnson, manager of Grays Harbor Raceway. Ferrando captures Grays Harbor opener

By Ben Deatherage ELMA, Wash. (April 17) – Engines fired up for the first time in 2021 at Grays Harbor Raceway on Saturday with 21 IMCA Modifieds contesting the evening’s main event. Tyson Blood moved his way into first place on the first lap. Devan West hunted down Blood in lapped traffic and overtook him for the lead. However, the pass was negated due to a yellow flag coming out before the lap could get registered, handing the top spot back to Blood. Several late-race restarts turned up the intensity for Blood. A lap 23 restart resumed the race and set up an opportunity for Grey Ferrando to have a shot at the coveted position. Despite starting all the way back in 18th, Ferrando worked his way patiently and methodically towards the front. As the white flag dropped, Ferrando found the opening he needed to challenge Blood. “Kruz Missile” Kepner Hits Target with PASS Victory at Selinsgrove

(Sept. 13, 2025) — Kruz Kepner doesn’t have much time to think about anything during the 10-minute ride from his home in Kreamer, Pa., to Selinsgrove Speedway, but he had a full week to think about being wrecked twice on the opening lap last weekend and wanting to erase the memory of that awful pair of races. His thinking — and his driving — did the job. Kepner scored his second Selinsgrove win of the season and fourth overall in River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series competition Saturday night, extending his lead in both the season’s PASS points standings and those for the track. Kepner started the feature in seventh and actually slipped back on the opening lap, but he quickly began to recover. Humblet Holds Off Hubbard in Virginia Sprint Series Thriller

(Sept. 13, 2025) — Chris Humblet made changes after his heat race that proved to be the right ones, as he flew to the win at Langley Speedway with the Virginia Sprint Series. Jerald Harris and Humblet paced the field to green, with Humblet jumping out first and Harris settling into second as Billy Hubbard quickly moved into third. Humblet stayed strong out front while Harris struggled with his tire choice, allowing Hubbard to get by and set his sights on the leader. As the laps clicked off quickly on the pavement, Humblet began working traffic, and with five to go, Hubbard had closed right in. With two laps left, Hubbard made a strong charge and got within a couple of car lengths, but that was as close as he would come. Humblet flashed under the waving checkered flag for his second win of the season at Langley, with Hubbard second and Matthew Leach third.

Weaver Wins Commonwealth Clash AST Feature at Lernerville; Kornbau Secures AST Championship

(Sept. 12, 2025) — The Friday portion of the Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway featured the Allegheny Sprint Tour and attracted 20 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car competitors to the Sarver oval. Kasey Weaver of Everett, Pa., led from the pole and never looked back, scoring his first career AST victory at Lernerville. Meanwhile, Hermitage’s Jeremy Kornbau wrapped up his first-ever Allegheny Sprint Tour championship. Weaver lined up on the inside front row, alongside second-year driver Hunter Hite. Weaver jumped out to the lead at the drop of the green, while Hite slipped back as Roman Jones moved into second. Trouble struck early when Timmy Bittner slowed on the backstretch and retired from the event. By mid-race, Weaver and Jones traded momentum at the front, with Jones inching ahead before Weaver powered back around on the outside to retake command.
