ARLINGTON, Minn. (Sept. 13, 2025) — Clint Hatlestad took full advantage of his front row redraw position as he pulled away from the field on the start of the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Arlington Raceway. A yellow came out when Mark Noble spun on lap three. On the restart, Jeremy Mills, who had started two rows behind Hatlestad, moved into second ahead of Chad Porter.

Soon, Trent Loverude was challenging Mills, but contact on lap eight sent Mills into the infield and ended his night. Loverude kept going but lapped traffic kept him from making a serious bid at the lead, leaving Hatlestad a clear path to victory and the $1,050 Jeff Rucks Memorial win. It was Hatlestad’s sixth win of 2025 in the Razor Chassis North Central Region — all coming at Arlington. Loverude finished second with Porter in third.

Probst Extends Hobby Stock Hot Streak with 13th Arlington Win

There were five yellow flags and one red flag in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature. A first-lap mishap occurred in turn four when Patrick Oestreich spun and Chad Volk had nowhere to go, ending both their nights. Another caution came out when R.J. Esqueda’s bumper came off and landed on the track, sending him to the pits.

Cory Probst led from start to finish through the chaos, scoring his 13th win at Arlington this year and his 37th in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region this season. Taylor Manderfeld took second and Jonathon Schroeder finished third. With two laps to go, a red flag flew when Levi Barna’s machine darted across the track and climbed the wall after contact with George Motto. Both drivers walked away unharmed, but neither was able to continue.

Schumacher Secures Eighth Win in Sport Compacts

Gary Schumacher had a stellar run in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature, leading from start to finish. Dale Gatton started seventh and charged into second by the end of the opening lap, holding the spot until the very end.

On the final lap, Justin Dose slipped past Gatton to take runner-up honors, with Gatton settling for third. The win marked Schumacher’s eighth of 2025 and his sixth at the Arlington half mile.

Enter Adds Another SportMod Score at Arlington

Matt Schoenke led the first three laps of the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature, but challengers lined up quickly. On the opening circuit, Scott Koep pressured Schoenke before Broddy Enter swept past both of them on lap three.

From there, Enter paced the rest of the 18-lapper to earn his sixth win of the season at Arlington and 11th overall in 2025. Eric Larson came home second, with Jeff Lloyd taking third.

Johnson Charges to Fourth Sprint Victory of 2025

There were three different leaders in the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint feature. Andrew Allen paced the first lap from his pole start before Brett Geldner powered around him on the high side.

A lap-seven caution bunched the field, and Matt Johnson took full advantage, moving past Allen on the restart. By lap 12 Johnson was all over Geldner, and he made the winning pass to secure his fourth victory of the season — three of them coming at Arlington. Geldner held on for second with Brandon Allen third.

Speckman Sails to Stock Car Checkers

The Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature turned into a battle of attrition, with multiple yellows slowing the 20-lapper. Jeff McCollum led the opening pair of laps before Matt Schauer spun in turn four, collecting Jed Trebelhorn and sending both pitside.

On the ensuing restart, Brent Uecker grabbed the lead from McCollum, but a lap-16 caution for Josh Larsen set up another shakeup. Matt Speckman made the most of the restart, diving under Uecker to take command and leading the final five laps for his sixth win of 2025 in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region — half of those coming at Arlington. Uecker ran second and McCollum third.
