Glembin Goes Wire-to-Wire for First Stock Car Win of ’25 at Eagle River

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (Jul. 15, 2025) –– Hometown driver Ryan Glembin led every lap en route to winning his first Suncoo IMCA stock car feature of the year here at Eagle River Speedway Tuesday.

Glembin outraced fellow front row starter Jonathan Miller into the lead at the drop of the green of the 15 lap contest. The race went caution free, with Glembin collecting his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region checkered flag of the ’25 campaign. Miller took second across the finish line, followed by Jason Zdroik.

IMCA Stock Cars are new attraction at Eagle River

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (Feb. 15, 2024) – The newest attraction at Eagle River Speedway are the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. The Class Too Tough To Tame joins the weekly lineup at the extreme northern Wisconsin track, with a dozen shows scheduled on Tuesday nights between May 26 and Aug. 20. “We like the class and the IMCA rules package. Snellenberger soars again at Eagle River

(June 18, 2024) – Rod Snellenberger passed Jason Zdroik for the lead with five laps remaining and went onto collect the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature win at Eagle River Speedway Tuesday night. Snellenberger, Wisconsin’s winningest IMCA Stock Car driver, trailed another former track champion who was substitute driving for his brother. Zdroik jumped into the early lead and appeared headed for a victory. However Snellenberger remained within striking distance of Zdroik and with seven laps remaining began to close the gap. On lap 15, Snellenberger ducked underneath the Eagle River veteran and cruised to victory. On the final circuit coming out of turn four Zdroik clobbered the frontstretch wall, relegating him to a fourth place finish. David Blackberg finished second with Patrick Farley Jr. coming home in third. Hometown driver Jonathan Miller rounded out the top five finishers. For Snellenberger, the win was his 223rd career IMCA Stock Car feature flag.

Snellenberger Snags Eagle River Speedway $1,000 Payday

(Jul. 1, 2025) — Rod Snellenberger of Pulaski, the 2008 Sunoco IMCA Stock Car National champion and defending Eagle River Speedway track champion, passed Junior Karcz for the lead on lap eight and held off hometown driver Jason Zdroik to win the $1,000-to-win feature Tuesday during the Mark Zdroik Memorial. The victory marked Snellenberger’s fourth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region win of 2025, his third at Eagle River this season, and the 232nd of his IMCA Stock Car career. Dave Bouche jumped into the lead from his pole position at the drop of the green of the 20 lap contest. Bouche mixed it up with Karcz in the first few circuits until a caution flew when Wausau’s Mitch Stankowski stalled on the frontstretch. On the restart, Cole Czarneski blasted into the second spot, and a three car dual ensued for the lead between Bouche, Czarneski and Snellenberger. Diercks Cruises to Wednesday Night West Liberty Checkers

By Mike McGuire WEST LIBERTY, Iowa (July 16, 2025) — With a little help from the weather, the Muscatine County Fair opened with a full night of racing on Wednesday. This was the first racing action the West Liberty Raceway half-mile had seen in 2025. The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature went all twenty laps caution-free. Spencer Diercks of Davenport would lead the entire distance and was never challenged in the race, finishing with a six second advantage over second place. The victory was Diercks’ eighth win of the season in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Second through fifth was where the action took place during the main. Kurt Kile, with the home field advantage, finished in the runner-up position. Chris Zogg took third. Plummer Breaks Through with First SportMod Victory of Season Tim Plummer of Norway, Iowa, captured the win in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods. Muth Masters Modified Midweek Mayhem at Cottage Grove

(July 16, 2025) –– Brett Muth thrilled his hometown fans with a determined 25-lap victory in Wednesday’s Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Cottage Grove Speedway, the second race of the 2025 Midweek Mayhem Series. The triumph marked his second win of the season in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region. Muth grabbed the lead on the opening lap and looked strong early before the caution waved on lap two. When racing resumed, Kevin Williamson—the wheelman of the Superior Fuel Cells no. 42 machine—began chipping away at Muth’s advantage and caught him by lap 12. Rage 40 Returns to Fayette County Speedway with $2,000 Top Prize on July 24

The 40-lap special for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds headlines the evening program on the 3/8-mile oval and offers a $2,000 payday to the winner, with a minimum of $200 to start.
