Moyer Breaks Through at Selinsgrove with PA Sprint Series

SELINSGROVE, Pa. (Jun. 4, 2025) — Paul Moyer, a hard-working guy who largely funds his own team and brings his car to the track on an open trailer, scored his first career win Wednesday night in the 20-lap River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series feature at Selinsgrove Speedway.

A second-place finish in his heat race enabled Moyer to draw for his feature starting position, and he drew the pole. From there, the Beaver Springs resident out-dragged Christian Rumsey for the early lead and wired the field in a non-stop race that took less than seven minutes to complete.

His margin of victory was 1.385 seconds.

Rumsey, from Middletown, New York, fought off a challenge from Josh Spicer and held onto second.

Newlin, Reigle race to PASS wins at BAPS Motor Speedway

YORK HAVEN, Pa. (April 20) – Defending Pennsylvania Sprint Series champion Zach Newlin joined Cale Reigle in visiting victory lane for the first time this season Saturday at BAPS Motor Speedway. Newlin led all the way to win the regularly scheduled 20-lap IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature after Reigle led all 19 laps of the evening’s first race, which completed a feature rained out two weeks earlier with one lap run. In the make-up feature, Devin Adams, Billy Ney, Newlin and Ken Duke Jr. followed Reigle across the finish line. The first feature was stopped following an early flip by Jake Frye but from that point Reigle sailed in front of the field while Ney, Larry McVey and Newlin dueled behind him. PASS heads back to Port Royal this Saturday

(April 18, 2024) – The River Valley Builders Pennsylvania Sprint Series batting average has dropped to .333 after a second postponement in three 2024 tries, so it’s up to Port Royal Speedway to successfully negotiate with Mother Nature and get things back on track this Saturday night. PASSIMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car teams are set to join 410 sprints and super late models for a sure-to-be-wild, hope-to-be-dry show at Port Royal. This past Friday night’s Spring Sprint Spectacular at Williams Grove Speedway fell victim to soggy conditions and the likelihood of high winds. The PASS tour is scheduled to race at the Grove next on Friday, May 24. In the meantime, Port Royal looms large, with two programs in the next three weeks. Lincoln, Bedford this Saturday and Sunday for PASS

(Aug. 11, 2023) – Two tracks with long but very different histories of River Valley Builders Pennsylvania Sprint Series competition make their only 2023 appearances on the schedule this weekend. Lincoln Speedway will be the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car teams’ destination Saturday night, and on Sunday night the action moves west to Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway, for a co-sanctioned event with the Laurel Highlands Sprint Series. Both tracks hosted their first PASS race 20 years ago. Lincoln will run exactly 20 years and five weeks after its first appearance, and Bedford will host the sprinters two days shy of exactly 20 years since the first show. It needs to be noted, however, that Lincoln hosted the Virginia Sprint Series, the oldest of all RaceSaver regional groups, before its first PASS race. IMCA Announces 2025 Stock Car Body Rule Amendment Effective Immediately

VINTON, Iowa (June 13, 2025) — The International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) has announced an immediate amendment to the 2025 Stock Car body rules regarding the use of the MD3 Camaro Stock Car body kit. The original rule stated:“IMCA approved MD3 Stock Car kit (part no. 33131-10200-X) is allowed. This Camaro kit must remain as produced, complete and unaltered. The kit components may not be used with any other body style.” Effective today, the following exceptions have been approved and added to the 2025 rulebook: These updates are effective immediately at all IMCA-sanctioned events nationwide. “This amendment gives our racers utilizing the Camaro body style more flexibility without compromising the integrity or identity,” said IMCA President, Brett Root. All competitors and teams are encouraged to review this update and ensure compliance at upcoming events. Skylar Pruitt: From the Horn of Africa to Victory Lane at Stuart

Born and raised in Stuart, Pruitt now races Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks at Stuart International Speedway — the same track his family has been tied to since the late 1970s. But the road that brought him back to the driver’s seat wasn’t a straight one.
