Saathoff Sails to Modified Victory After Multi-Car Mayhem

EAGLE, Neb. (May 24, 2025) — A wild night at Eagle Raceway in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds ended with Beatrice’s Jaxon Saathoff standing tall for his first Jet Racing Central Region win of the season. Saathoff capitalized on a mid-race shuffle that sent early leader Bob Zoubek to the rear and reset the field.

Cameron Thompson and Brandon Verbeek remained in contention throughout the caution-heavy feature, while Shawn Harker made a late push to grab second. Thompson settled for third.

Vanover Powers from 12th to Win Fourth of Season in Stock Cars

Beatrice driver Kyle Vanover surged from the 12th starting position to earn his third Sunoco IMCA Stock Car win of the year at Eagle and fourth overall in 2025 in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region.

The lead swapped hands early among Austin Boucher, Jeremy Down, and Shane Stutzman before Vanover asserted control with six to go. Stutzman finished runner-up, while Down held on for third.

Drueke Delivers from 16th in Sprint Car Comeback

Eagle’s own Tyler Drueke put on a clinic in the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars, charging from 16th to the win after transferring from the B Feature. It marked his second victory of the year at Eagle.

Drueke inherited the lead after Trevor Grossenbacher pulled off mid-race and never looked back. Dominic White and Stu Snyder, another B Feature transfer, completed the podium.

Richards Rallies Late to Score 22nd Win of Season in Hobby Stocks

Dillon Richards continued his dominant season by reclaiming the lead in dramatic fashion on the final lap of the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature. The Beatrice driver, who started 10th, scored his 22nd win of 2025 and fifth at Eagle. Fourteen of his victories have come in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region.

Tyler Smith made a bold move to take the lead entering the final lap but couldn’t fend off Richards exiting turn four. Garrit Caswell finished third.

Wayman Wins SportMod Feature for Second Time at Eagle

Lincoln’s Cole Wayman weathered the rain and heavy pressure in the finale to earn his second Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod win of the year at Eagle Raceway. Wayman pounced on a restart with 10 laps to go and never looked back, defending his position to the checkers.

Noah Williams finished second after leading early, followed by Mason Richards in third.
