Bulls Gap, Tenn. (May 10, 2025) — For the first time ever, the Carolina Sprint Tour made its way to the famed high banks of Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap— and Sprint Cars returned to the track for the first time in nearly four years and featured a strong 16 car field of RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars.
After the redraw, Derrek Treece started from the pole position and led the field to green for 25 laps. But at the drop of the green, Treece had a sluggish start, allowing George Loux to shoot to the lead.
On lap 8, Biscuit Williams came to a stop, bringing out the race’s lone caution. He would retire for the night. On the restart, Jadan Bowling quickly closed the gap on Loux, making a decisive pass for the lead on lap 10. From there, Bowling checked out from the field, stretching his advantage to over six seconds.
A late heartbreak for Josh Shantz, who was running in second before suffering a flat tire with two laps to go, allowed Cale Cozad to grab the runner-up spot. Loux held on for third.
