Super Nationals will boast a super purse

BOONE, Iowa – The purse is every bit as super as the event itself.

Shares of nearly $300,000 will be paid out to drivers competing at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Add to that the approximate $60,000 in contingency awards and there’s no doubt the 36th annual version of America’s Racin’ Vacation will continue to be the most prestigious, top-paying event for grassroots racers.

“Maintaining reasonable entry fees and admission prices while providing the best possible purse structure has always been a goal at Super Nationals,” explained IMCA President Brett Root. “We have been able to accomplish that because of the great contingency award support given by IMCA sponsors.”

The Saturday, Sept. 8 Modified main event boasts a potential $7,000 paycheck for the winner. That includes a guaranteed $2,000 plus a $100 bonus for each of as many as 50 sanctioned starts made during the season.

Potential payday for the Northern SportMods on Saturday is $2,250. That main event pays a guaranteed $1,000 to win plus a bonus of $25 for each of up to 50 starts this season.
