CRYSTAL, Mich. (June 23) – Myron DeYoung took the early lead and then cruised to take the Lane Automotive IMCA Modified victory Saturday at Crystal Motor Speedway.

Rosebrugh Wins Wild Salay Memorial Finale at Crystal

By Ben Deatherage CRYSTAL, Mich. (Jun. 21, 2025) — Chase Rosebrugh capitalized on late-race drama to win the Saturday night finale of the Dan Salay Memorial weekend at Crystal Motor Speedway. The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified event, paying $2,000 to win, capped off a thrilling tripleheader in front of a packed crowd. Austin Harnick, the reigning Great Lakes Nationals winner, set the tone early in the 40-lapper by taking the lead on the opening circuit. Harnick Hustles to Second Straight Crystal Win

(Apr. 19, 2025) — Austin Harnick continued his red-hot start to the season Saturday night at Crystal Motor Speedway, charging from 12th to score his second consecutive Friesen Performance IMCA Modified win at the track and fourth overall in the DeVilbiss Racing Eastern Region. Don Proctor Jr. and Chad Spencer dueled for the lead early, with Spencer leading the opening lap and building a small cushion. Two-time track champion Austin Wonch worked past Proctor for second after an early restart, then set his sights on the leader. The turning point came on a lap 10 restart when Harnick, the reigning Merritt Speedway champion and Great Lakes Nationals winner, powered underneath Spencer to take the lead. Grabo Grabs South Texas Money in Night Three of Showdown at I-37

Hallas PLEASANTON, Texas (Jan. 9, 2026) — The 25-lap, $1,500-to-win IMCA Modified main for night three of the Texas Showdown at I-37 came to green with Jordan Grabouski and Dean Abbey staying wheel to wheel into turn one. Steven Whiteaker Jr. had a big run coming off the very top, but it was Grabouski leading lap one, chased by Whiteaker, Abbey, Cody Laney, and Jeff Taylor in the top five. Abbey used the bottom to take second from Whiteaker on lap two, with Taylor grabbing third a lap later. The yellow waved on lap six, and when things got back under green, Grabouski got away while Laney tried the high side and fell back, and G.W. Egbert IV moved into the top five. Mallicoat Motors Away to Modified Money on Night Two of Texas Showdown at I-37

Hallas PLEASANTON, Texas (Jan. 8, 2026) — When the $1,250-to-win, 20-lap IMCA Modified main roared to life for night two of the Texas Showdown at I-37 Speedway, Jared Maupin and William Gould stayed side by side into turn one. Gould drifted up slightly in turn two but came off the corner better to lead ahead of Maupin, night-one winner Cody Laney, and Izac Mallicoat going three-wide for second. Mallicoat was able to catch and pass Gould for the lead before a spin in turn four brought out the yellow. On the restart, Mallicoat, Gould and Laney got away while Maupin ran side by side with Dean Abbey. Mallicoat quickly began to check out, leaving Laney and Gould tied at the rub rails for numerous laps. That battle allowed Mallicoat to stretch his advantage, reaching the halfway point ahead of Gould, Laney, Abbey and Maupin, who would later pull off, moving Steven Whiteaker Jr. into fifth.
