PONTOTOC, Miss. – Hyperco gives product awards to drivers in four divisions and the Deery Brothers Summer Series, in its 19th season as a marketing partner with IMCA.
Located in Pontotoc, Miss., the high performance suspension components manufacturer has designated 2016 awards to be based on regional Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car standings, and on national standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods.
“Hyperco looks forward to another great season with IMCA and its racers … the high level of competition is well suited to Hyperco’s product lines and racers looking for the highest levels of performance,” said Kelly Falls, vice president of motorsport – performance aftermarket products. “A great sanctioning body and a great group of racers … the perfect combination for a manufacturer like us!”
The top three eligible drivers in each of the five Modified regions, in both Stock Car regions and in national standings for Northern SportMods and Southern SportMods competing with at least one Hyperco spring receive two Hyperco SNS Conventional springs.
The highest finishing driver in each Modified region who competes with leaf springs earns a pair of Hyperco Conventional leaf springs.
Hyperco also gives two Conventional SNS springs to the top eligible driver in IMCA Late Model tour standings. Second and third-place eligible drivers each receive one Conventional SNS spring.
Drivers in all five divisions are required to display two Hyperco decals on their race car and compete with at least one Hyperco spring. Modified, Stock Car and SportMod drivers must also fill out and return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.
“We don’t have a lot of competitors on leaf springs anymore but make sure if you are one of the select few you let me know,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Hyperco makes the best leafs in the business and hasn’t forgotten about the evolution of the spring industry.”
