Awards in seven IMCA divisions, Deery Series in Performance Bodies program for 2015

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Performance Bodies continues one of IMCA’s most encompassing programs, giving contingency awards valued at nearly $20,000 to drivers in seven IMCA divisions.

Located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the high automotive parts retailer and race car body manufacturer is in its 33rd year as an IMCA sponsor. Synonymous as primary sponsor for Hobby Stock and SportMod rookie of the year programs, Performance Bodies also returns to national decal programs for Modifieds and the Hobbies.

“Performance Bodies has added value to their awards packages this season, specifically for Late Models. In addition to the free nosepiece they have included fenders and valance packages in 2015,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder commented. “Modified and SportMod drivers now have some other choices as well, making the Performance Bodies program one of the most diverse and lucrative we offer.”

Modified and Hobby Stock drivers are required to display two Performance Bodies decals on their race car to be eligible for post-season prizes.

Second through sixth place finishers overall and the second through fourth place finishing rookies in each of the five Modified regions receive an MD3 rocker panel or a spruce-up special package, which includes two doors and two quarter panels.

Top 10 drivers in the Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models get nosepiece and headlight decal kits, a pair of molded dirt fenders and valance packages.

Top 10 finishers in both Stock Car regions, the top 10 in both Hobby Stock regions and national rookies of the year in both divisions receive nosepiece and headlight decal kits.

The second through sixth place drivers in national standings and rookie of the year runners-up for both the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods also earn the MD3 rocker panel or spruce-up special package option.

Gift cards valued at $100, $50 and $50, respectively, go to the top three drivers in national Mach-1 Sport Compact point standings.

Deadline for submitting rookie of the year applications is Aug. 1.
