Central Region for IMCA Modifieds runs under Jet Racing banner again in 2015

BEATRICE, Neb. (March 23) – Jet Racing returns to the title sponsorship role for IMCA’s Central Region for Modifieds for a fourth consecutive season in 2015.

The region includes sanctioned tracks in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and eastern Colorado. Jet, located in Beatrice, Neb., provides a portion of the $6,000 point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in official point standings.

The champion’s share is $2,500. The runner-up earns $1,250, with $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th place.

Owned by four-time national and now six-time regional champion Johnny Saathoff, Jet Racing is in its 18th year as an IMCA marketing partner and retails high performance parts and automotive accessories in addition to building chassis.

Drivers must display two Jet Racing decals on their race car to be eligible for any point fund money.

“Jet Racing is one of our longest-tenured chassis partners and with the addition of newly sanctioned tracks in Oklahoma, it should do nothing but enhance an already ultra-competitive Jet Racing Central Region,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder pointed out. “Jet Racing has become synonymous with its home region and we are proud to continue that relationship.”
