Red River Speedway opens with inaugural IMCA Invasion special

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Red River Speedway opens the new race season with the inaugural Red River IMCA Invasion on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13 and 14.

IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds and IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $700 to win both nights. Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods chase $600 top checks while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars contend for $500 to win each night.

Minimum start money is $150 for the Sprints, $100 for the Modifieds and $50 for both Southern SportMods and Stock Cars.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance Texas State points will be awarded in all four divisions. Razor Chassis South Central Region points go to Modified drivers and Southern Region points will be awarded in the I-Stocks; local track points will be given to Sprint Car and Southern SportMod drivers.

Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. both days. Racing starts at 7 p.m. on Friday and at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and active military personnel and free for kids 12 and under. All pit passes are $30; a minor’s release is required for anyone under the age of 18 purchasing entry to the pit area.

Required registration for Modifieds, Sprint Cars and Southern SportMods is $30.

An open practice runs from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12. Pit passes are $15 that evening.
