Stephenville Starter starts new role as title sponsor of Hobby Stock Race of Champions

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Stephenville Starter has a new role this September on dirt track racing’s biggest stage.

The Stephenville, Texas, manufacturer is the new title sponsor of the Hobby Stock Race of Champions, to be held Sept. 6 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway.

Ten drivers qualify for that race. Stephenville Starter provides a portion of the purse.

This is the sixth year Stephenville Starter has been a marketing partner with IMCA. The manufacturer of high performance, as well as industrial and agricultural products, had previously been title sponsor of Northern and Southern Hobby Stock regions.

“Stephenville Starter continues their endorsement of the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock division through title sponsorship of this event and it’s a great commitment of support,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder noted. “They have been tremendously involved with this division for a number of years and promoting them on our grandest stage is certainly something we’re excited to be able to do.”
