VINTON, Iowa (May 8) – The tires that took Justin Kay to the checkers in Sunday’s Deery Brothers Summer Series feature at Quad City Speedway passed testing at an independent laboratory with flying colors.
Tire samples were sent for chemical testing.
“We have results from the lab, which verified the tires were legal,” Tour Director Kevin Yoder said. “Race results have been declared official and Justin has been paid the $3,000 for his win.”
Random tire sampling will continue throughout the IMCA Late Model tour as well as at events for other sanctioned divisions this season.
