LINCOLN, Neb. – Twenty-six IMCA marketing partners will be recognized for their dedicated support at the upcoming IMCA national awards banquet.
The banquet is Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln, Neb.
AFCO will be honored for supporting IMCA racing for 20 consecutive seasons. They are the seventh-longest tenured IMCA sponsor and the latest to achieve a two-decade milestone.
A host of organizations have reached 15 consecutive years of partnership, and they include Bilstein of Poway, Calif.; Design 500 Racewear of Tukwila, Wash.; Dirt Works Race Cars of Oronogo, Mo.; Holley of Bowling Green, Ky.; JC Dubil of Bettendorf, Iowa; Karl Performance of Des Moines, Iowa; QA1 of Lakeville, Minn.; Schoenfeld Headers of Van Buren, Ark.; and Speedway Engineering of Sylmar, Calif.
A trio of organizations will be recognized and given decade partnership awards at the banquet for their support and include Moser Engineering of Portland, Ind.; MSD of El Paso, Texas; and The Joie of Seating of Kannapolis, N.C.
Thirteen companies have now partnered with IMCA for five seasons and include AMI Graphics of Center Strafford, N.H.; BSB Manufacturing of Wellington, Kan.; Crane Cams of Daytona Beach, Fla.; Dominator Race Products of Lyons, Ohio; Eibach Springs of Corona, Calif.; Genesis Shocks of Roswell, Ga.; Howards Cams of Oshkosh, Wis.; Jones Birdsong LLP of Henderson, Nev.; Mach-1 Racing Solutions of Abbott, Texas; R2C Performance of Vernon Hills, Ill.; Scorpion Racing Products of Ocala, Fla.; Southwest Racing Specialties of Hobbs, N.M.; and Stephenville Starter of Stephenville, Tex.
Drivers winning championships and rookie of the year awards will be honored as well on Nov. 30. Cocktails are at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. and the awards ceremony to follow.
Tickets are $30 each and available by calling the IMCA home office at 319 472-2201. Banquet goers should call 402 474-7474 and request the IMCA group rate regarding overnight accommodations.
An order form is published on the third page of this month’s newsletter. A list of names of those attending should accompany each ticket order.
Track sanction awards will be presented during the annual banquet.
RSVPs are also requested from those planning to attend the Friday, Nov. 29 open house at the Smith Collection of American Speed, on the Speedway Motors campus in Lincoln.
