BOONVILLE, Ind. – The company IMCA drivers have already counted on for the past quarter-century returns for a 26th season of support in 2019.

AFCO will continue a rich awards program benefitting IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod competitors.

Awards from the Boonville, Ind., suspension, exhaust, brakes and cooling parts manufacturer will be presented during the national IMCA banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

The top three eligible drivers in each of the five Modified regions receive product certificates valued at $250, $150 and $50, respectively. Top three eligible drivers in both Stock Car regions receive certificates worth $200, $100 and $50.

Top three eligible drivers in both Northern and Southern regions for Hobby Stocks and top three drivers in national SportMod standings get product certificates valued at $125, $75 and $50, respectively.

Drivers in those five divisions are required compete with AFCO-manufactured shocks and springs, display two AFCO decals on their race car and return a completed sign-up sheet to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 to be eligible.

The national Late Model rookie of the year and fourth, sixth and 11th place finishers in national Late Model point standings all earn $100 product certificates.

And the Modified national champion and rookie of the year, as well as the first hard luck driver to get upside down during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, all receive GM frame replacement kits.

“AFCO’s generosity toward IMCA drivers runs deep and we’ll actually have some extra awards to offer selected drivers this year,” said Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for IMCA. “As the season progresses, we’ll determine how those are distributed, but the fundamental AFCO program remains intact and we’re grateful for their support.”

Information about all AFCO products is available by calling 800 632-2320, on Facebook and at the new www.afcoracing.com website.

At 26 years, AFCO is the fifth longest tenured of IMCA’s 100-plus sponsors.
