ORONOGO, Mo. – Modified drivers in IMCA’s Eastern Region enjoy title sponsor support by Dirt Works Race Cars for a sixth consecutive season.
The Oronogo, Mo., chassis builder again provides a portion of the $6,000 point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in the region encompassing IMCA tracks in New York, Michigan, Florida and Alabama.
Dirt Works, owned by veteran driver Jerry Hoffman and a sister company to Hoffman Race Cars, has built championship-winning Modifieds since the early days of the division and first sponsored an IMCA region in 1996.
The regional championship pays $2,500 this season. The runner-up earns $1,250, with $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th place.
Drivers must display two Dirt Works Race Cars decals on their race cars to be eligible for point fund shares.

“Even though the current title sponsorship with Dirt Works is in its sixth season, we still celebrate those that began our relationship in the mid-90’s and will eclipse 20 years in 2018,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “There are only a handful of chassis builders who have stood the test of time and the Dirt Works brand is one synonymous with the IMCA Modified.”
