Former champion Ward gets first IMCA Dakota Tour Modified win

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (July 8, 2023) – Tim Ward has already won an IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Modified Tour championship. Now he’s won an IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Modified Tour feature. Ward drew the pole and led all 30 laps of the 34th annual tour opener for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds Saturday at Jamestown Speedway, outrunning 10th starting Travis Hagen to the $2,000 checkers. “We finally got a win,” said Ward, twice a runner-up while en route to the 2021 tour title. ”It’s so tough to win on this tour. IMCA.TV bonuses paid to Dakota Tour Modified drivers defending home tracks

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (July 7, 2023) – Modified drivers defending their home track(s) earn almost $2,000 in bonuses during the upcoming IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Modified Tour. The top three finishing drivers appearing in local track standings coming into the night at July 8-13 tour events each receive $110 IMCA.TV DCMT Defender Awards. Where they finish in the feature doesn’t matter: The sole requirement is that they have competed and earned weekly points at that track/or tracks this season. 34th IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Modified Tour starts Saturday in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (July 6, 2023) – Online entries continue to come in for the 34th annual IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Modified Tour. The six consecutive night tour for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stocks Cars is again an international series with Estevan Motor Speedway in Saskatchewan back after a three-year absence due to the Covid pandemic. At this point, drivers have pre-registered from 15 US states and a healthy contingent from Canada. Modifieds will be running for $2,000 to win and $300 to start their 26-car features, along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Stock Cars will be paid $1,000 to win their 24-car feature events with B & B Racing Chassis All-Star qualifying eligibility awarded as well. Brad Sites grabs first NY-Penn Series win of season

(June 30, 2023) – Brad Sites didn’t let anyone stay close the last four times around the track in winning the Friday night Close Racing Supply NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series presented by MR Grafix main event at The Hill Speedway. Sites’ first Friesen Performance IMCA Modified tour win of 2023 paid $1,000 and earned Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility for the 2021 series champion as well. BELGRADE, Mont. (July 1, 2023) – Ricky Alvarado started his 2023 Friesen Performance IMCA Modified racing vacation with the $5,000 checkers at Gallatin Speedway’s inaugural Modtana Madness special. (June 24, 2023) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds rolled out to race for $1,000 to win Saturday at Shawano Speedway and Jordan Bartz raced straight to victory lane to claim the check. Bartz utilized the momentum on the high side of the oval to grab the opening lap lead from her outside front row starting spot. Lucas Lamberies put on a show behind her, moving from eighth to fourth by lap three and then to third by lap four. A caution seven laps in slowed the pace and saw Bartz lead Marcus Yarie, Lamberies, Konnor Wilinski and Brekken Kleinschmidt back to green.
