Gould collects Kennedale Modified checkers, Smith sweeps IMCA Spring Kickoff features

KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 23, 2024) – Kennedale Speedway Park has always been a favorite race track for William Gould and after Friday night it was easy to see why. Sun, sand, speed are Clash on the Coast attractions for IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars

BAKER, Fla. (Feb. 23, 2024) – Sun, sand and speed bring 150-plus IMCA drivers to Florida for the four-race Clash on the Coast presented by IMCA.TV. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds will be joined by IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, making their first-ever appearance in the Sunshine State Feb. 26 and 27 at Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker and March 1 and 2 at Southern Raceway in Milton. Sisson is Sunday IMCA Mod Lite star at Winterfest

LEWISBURG, Tenn. (Feb. 18, 2024) – Other than the fact he didn’t win, Cody Sisson was fuzzy on the details of his finish the only other time he raced at Duck River Raceway Park, eight years ago. Odds are that he’ll remember everything about his Sunday showing there. Sisson dominated the second half of the 30-lapper for Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites in collecting the $3,000 Winterfest checkers. “It’s a career-best payday for us,” said Sisson, a nine-year veteran of the class and from Talbott, a 3-1/2 hour hoof to the east, “and we’ve worked hard for it.” On board the RB Motorsports car out of Steubenville, Ohio, for the fourth season, Sisson started the Tennessee Mod Lite Racing Association main event from fourth, took over third early on and then moved to second following a lap six restart. Herring tops IMCA Modified Ice Breaker feature for first-ever Abilene win

ABILENE, Texas (Feb. 16, 2024) – Toby Herring used to come to Abilene Speedway hoping to make the show. On Friday night, the veteran from Hobbs, N.M., was the show. Raffurty races to big money at Brick City Nationals

OCALA, Fla. (Feb. 2-3, 2024) – Most of Dillon Raffurty’s first visit to Ocala Speedway was spent as a spectator. Saturday night, he was the $4,000 Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite feature winner at the Florida speed plant’s Brick City Nationals. The Kansas City, Mo., hotshoe began his quest for a fourth consecutive IMCA national championship as runner-up to Tennessee star Ronnie Choate in Friday’s $1,000 to win main event at Ocala.
