Abilene starts 2019 season with Feb. 15, 16 Ice Breaker

ABILENE, Texas – Abilene Speedway hosts its traditional season-opening Ice Breaker on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15 and 16. IMCA Modifieds run for $700 to win and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods for $600 to win each night. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $600 to win on Friday and for $750 to win their Lone Star Tour opener on Saturday. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis South Central and EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region, Texas State and track points will be awarded for both draw/redraw programs. Third annual Arizona Tour slated Feb. 7-16 for IMCA Modifieds, Northern SportMods

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win while Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods chase $600 top checks each night of the third annual Arizona Modified Tour. All seven Modified features are 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events and pay a minimum of $150 to start. Northern SportMod features pay $60 to start. Dates announced for 30th IMCA Dakota Classic Tour

MANDAN, N.D. – They’ll celebrate a milestone each night of the 2019 Kupper Chevrolet IMCA Dakota Classic Tour. IMCA Modifieds race for $2,400 to win along with berths on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot each night of the 30th annual tour, scheduled July 6-11. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also on the card at Saturday through Thursday shows, running for $800 to win. The North Dakota and Saskatchewan-based tour starts at Jamestown Speedway on Saturday, July 6. This will be the 11th time Jamestown has hosted the series. Round two is Sunday, July 7, at Nodak Speedway. Canyon hosts IMCA Harvest Hustle over Thanksgiving Weekend

PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23 and 24 Harvest Hustle cards at Canyon Speedway Park. Modifieds race for $750 to win on Friday and for $1,500 to win in their Saturday Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main event. SportMods chase top checks of $500 on Friday and $1,000 on Saturday. Entry fees for both divisions are $25 each night. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages 7-11 and free for six and under. All minors must have a signed and notarized release form on file to get into the pit area. WACO, Texas – Five thousand dollars is the top IMCA Modified main event prize while $10,000 is at stake in the IMCA.TV-sponsored Dirt Dominator during the Oct. 25-27 Fall Classic at Heart O’ Texas Speedway. The Modified feature is a 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying race and pays a minimum of $300 to start. Southern Challenge IMCA features pay $2,000 to win

ABILENE, Texas – Winners of the IMCA Modified, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car divisions at Abilene Speedway’s 24th annual Ryan Bard Memorial Southern Challenge on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20 all earn $2,000. The Modified main event is a qualifier for the 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pays $300 to start. SportMod and Stock Car features pay a minimum of $200 to take the green. HAYS, Kan. – RPM Speedway puts the final touches on the 2018 season with one of the richest post-season events on the IMCA schedule, the Friday and Saturday, Oct. 5 and 6 Fall Nationals. IMCA Modifieds race for $5,000 to win and a minimum of $400 to start their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot-qualifying feature during the 12th annual event at Hays. Schoknecht Memorial is Saturday at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. – More than $20,000 has been added to IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and IMCA Modified purses for Saturday’s Schoknecht Memorial at Arlington Raceway. Stock Cars run for $4,000 to win and Modifieds for $2,000 to win their Sept. 29 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. There’s also extra money to be paid to drivers in other classes during the season championship program, which also features IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. Money added to the purse was donated by individuals and businesses in memory of Scott Schoknecht, a friend of many in the racing community who passed away unexpectedly last summer. Sheyenne Speedway ends first IMCA Modified season on Sunday

LISBON, N.D. – Sunday’s Battle at the Boneyard wraps up the first season for IMCA Modifieds at Sheyenne Speedway. Track, North Dakota state, Jet Racing Central Region and IMC Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National points are at stake at the Sept. 30 show. Race For Hope 74 practice, time trials start Tuesday

BATESVILLE, Ark. – Practice and time trials get underway Tuesday night at Batesville Motor Speedway for the top-paying IMCA Modified event of the season. A $20,000 share of the $150,000 Mark and Arlene Martin Hope For Arkansas Foundation Race For Hope 74 main event purse goes to the winner of the Saturday, Sept. 29 headliner. Twenty-seven drivers take the green flag in a race that pays a minimum of $2,000 to start.
