
IMCA Modifieds return to Wisconsin’s Angell Park Speedway this Sunday
SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (Aug. 6, 2024) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds return to Angell Park Speedway this Sunday, for a $1,000 to win feature during the annual King of the Park special. Winner of the Aug. 11 main event becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. The feature pays a minimum of $125 to start with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis North Central Region and Wisconsin State points to be awarded. Twenty-one Modifieds representing three states competed during their first-ever visit to the 1/3-mile Wisconsin speed factory, located just five minutes northeast of Madison, last summer. Pit gates open at 1:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. Hot laps are at 5 p.m. with racing to follow. Pit passes are $30. Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and military, $10 for students ages 12-17 and $5 for ages 6-11, and free for five and under.
