Registration opens July 1 for IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (June 30, 2023) – IMCA drivers can begin making their reservations for the biggest event in all of dirt track racing on July 1. Registration opens Saturday for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway Sept. 4-9. Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod, Sport Compact, Late Model and Mod Lite drivers must register online. Eagle is RaceSaver Nationals destination Aug. 31-Sept. 3

EAGLE, Neb. (June 29, 2023) – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car drivers from across the country are already replying to the invitation to Sprint on in to Nebraska’s Racing Vacation Destination Aug. 31-Sept. 3. Eagle Raceway rolls out the red carpet for the RaceSaver Nationals over the Labor Day Weekend, concluding the 11th annual special with a main event that pays a guaranteed $3,000 to win and a minimum of $1,500 to start. Bartz pockets top payday at Shawano

(June 24, 2023) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds rolled out to race for $1,000 to win Saturday at Shawano Speedway and Jordan Bartz raced straight to victory lane to claim the check. Bartz utilized the momentum on the high side of the oval to grab the opening lap lead from her outside front row starting spot. Lucas Lamberies put on a show behind her, moving from eighth to fourth by lap three and then to third by lap four. A caution seven laps in slowed the pace and saw Bartz lead Marcus Yarie, Lamberies, Konnor Wilinski and Brekken Kleinschmidt back to green. As Yarie and Lamberies fell into a battle for second, Bartz looked to put some distance on the pair as they raced side-by-side. That breathing room was short-lived as Lamberies cleared Yarie on lap eight and put immediate pressure on the 12 of Bartz. Super Nationals Weekend set Sept. 7-9 for Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods

KENNEDALE, Texas (June 21, 2023) – IMCA Southern SportMod drivers will have a super weekend all their own Sept. 7-9. Kennedale Speedway Park hosts the second annual IMCA Southern SportMod Super Nationals powered by Smiley’s Racing Products, culminating with a $5,000 to win, minimum $500 to start main event Saturday night. Twenty-four or 25 drivers will start the 30-lap main event grind. Purse for the main event is more than $20,000 with another $4,000-plus paid to drivers in the accompanying All-Star race. Lemmens leaves Shawano with big money

(June 17, 2023) – Luke Lemmens ran the top side to perfection in the late going, earning the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win and $4,000 at Shawano Speedway’s Racing For a Reason. The 12th annual special benefits the battle against childhood cancer and a season-high 130 entries, 33 of them Stock Cars, checked in at the legendary half mile. Chucky Forstner and Lemmens led the field to the green and early on it was Lemmens running the high side and Forstner down low, racing side-by-side with Tyler Wilson following closely behind. The two drivers on the move were Trent Nolan, who started seventh, and Travis VanStraten, who started 11th. By lap five, both had worked their way into the top five. Anderson streaks, repeats at IMCA Landus SportMod Nationals

BRITT, Iowa (June 12, 2023) – So much for the slow start to his season. Logan Anderson led 29 of 30 laps in repeating as winner of the Landus IMCA Northern SportMod Nationals at Hancock County Speedway, outrunning Matthew Looft and Colby Fett and earning $2,500 for his Monday night efforts. The Eddyville hot shoe is now 2-for-2 in his Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod career outings at Britt. The Modified winner was Todd Shute while Kyle Olson went to victory lane in the SportMods. The IMCA Modifieds presented by Tire Demon by Love Tap ran a 30 lapper. Johnathon Logue started on the pole and jumped to the immediate lead, as Joel Rust who had started on the outside front row, tucked in to run second. Rust had the lead by lap six but by then it was ninth place starter Shute and Dallon Murty joining in challenging Logue and leader Rust in a real dogfight. Keller takes care of IMCA Modified business at Dacotah’s Iron Man

MANDAN, N.D. (June 3, 2023) – Jeremy Keller followed his game plan to the letter Saturday night at Dacotah Speedway. As a result, the two-time race runner-up became the first-time winner of Mandan’s 100-lap Iron Man main event for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds. “It was a long race but it went by fast. It was a big night for us, that’s for sure,” Keller said following the career-best $5,000 checkers. “We were determined. We tested stuff this spring to see how we could be most competitive at the end.
