Roedl opened up a lead on the field and looked set to grab an easy checkered flag, but “The Hitman” Johnny Whitman had something else in mind. A lap later, Whitman picked off Tanner Janke for third. By lap 11, Whitman snuck past Konnor Wilinski to take second.
