Inaugural Sparkling City Classic Set for South Texas Race Ranch This December

By Ben Deatherage CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Aug. 22, 2025) — The inaugural Sparkling City Classic is set to light up South Texas Race Ranch with three nights of racing on December 11–13, 2025. Headlined by Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, the brand-new event will feature big money on the line in Corpus Christi. The action begins on Wednesday, December 10, with an open practice night for all competitors. NAPA Fan Zone to Host Full Slate of Interactive Activities at 2025 IMCA Super Nationals

Located near the grandstands and filled with displays, activities, and special appearances, the Fan Zone brings drivers and fans together like no other venue during the weeklong event. Returning on Wednesday, Sept. 3 is the popular Women in IMCA Meet & Greet, coordinated with the help of Andrea McCain. Bob Harris Enterprises to Host Open House on September 3

Complimentary food will be served as part of a mid-week brunch during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. On display will be both a 2026 GRT by BHE Modified and a 2026 BHE Stock Car. Oktoberfest Returns to Dacotah Speedway September 26-27

By Ben Deatherage MANDAN, N.D. (Aug. 21, 2025) – The tradition of fall racing at Dacotah Speedway continues with Oktoberfest presented by TransTrash, set for Friday and Saturday, September 26-27. The two-day special will once again feature the same format as last year, with heats and Dash for Cash races on Friday night and ‘B’ mains and championship features on Saturday night. Four IMCA divisions will headline the program, each racing for a $1,000 top prize: Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet IMCA SportMods, and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks. 54th Annual Stock Car Stampede Set for September 19-20 at Jamestown Speedway

(Aug. 21, 2025) — The biggest racing weekend of the season in Jamestown is almost here as Jamestown Speedway hosts the 54th Annual Stock Car Stampede on Friday and Saturday, September 19-20. Both nights will feature Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, and Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars headlining the Stampede. Race time is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, with the format to follow the successful programs run in recent years. Fans unable to attend in person can watch both nights live on IMCA TV affiliate Dacotah Speedway TV. This year’s Stampede features a lucrative purse structure. 2nd Annual Ray Haase Memorial Set for Sunday, Sept. 14 at Boone County Raceway

(Aug. 29, 2025) – Boone County Raceway in Albion will host the 2nd Annual Ray Haase Memorial on Sunday, September 14, with big money on the line for Sunoco IMCA Late Models, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks. Late Models headline the program with a rich $8,052 to win and $302 to start. Second place pays $5,002, third is worth $3,002, fourth $2,002 and fifth $1,002. The payout continues at $950 for sixth, $900 for seventh, $850 for eighth, $800 for ninth and $750 for tenth, with positions 11 through 24 ranging from $700 down to $400. Stock Car Stars Ready for B&B All-Star Invitational at Boone

UPDATED 8/29, 4:18 p.m. CST By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 20, 2025) – Some of the finest drivers in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car division will take the green flag in the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational, one of the showcase events of the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Eligibility is earned by winning sanctioned Stock Car events paying a minimum of $1,000 to win, with drivers capturing $5,000 or more specials guaranteed starting positions. Qualifying for the 2025 event continues through the final weekend of August. The All-Star Invitational is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Boone, with the thirty-car starting grid determined through group time trials, guaranteed spots, and a final draw. 1,000 Drivers Set to Chase Glory at 2025 IMCA Super Nationals

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 20, 2025) – For the fourth consecutive year, pre-entries for the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s have topped the 1,000 mark. On August 20, Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock driver Eric Cross of Salina, Kansas, became the 1,000th driver to register for the 43rd annual event. All divisions are currently pacing ahead of last year’s totals, with 285 Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, 237 Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, 168 Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, 159 Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, 78 Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites, and 60 Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts already entered. The overall all-time record of 1,036 competitors was set last year, with 1,061 pre-registered entries. The Stock Car total is already an all-time preregistration record for the class, surpassing last year’s mark of 281. Tathan Burkhart Grabs Stock Car Victory at WaKeeney

By Sheldon Wickwar WaKEENEY, Kan. (Aug. 15, 2025) — Kyle Pfeifer and Drew Miller led the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car field to the green for their 20-lap main event at WaKeeney Speedway. Pfeifer jumped out early, but Tathan and Troy Burkhart quickly worked past Miller to join the fight at the front. The battle shifted when Pfeifer spun in turns one and two, collecting Troy Burkhart in the process, forcing both to pull off early. Modified driver Dylan Sherfick also exited the race.
