Scholpp Scores Emotional Tour Win at Home Track in Estevan

(Jul. 7, 2025) — Kody Scholpp gave the hometown fans a night to remember, fending off repeated challenges to win Monday’s Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Estevan Motor Speedway, night three of the Wolla Trucking Dakota Classic Modified Tour powered by Industrial Electric. With a packed grandstand cheering him on, Scholpp turned in a flawless performance that electrified the Estevan faithful. Drew Christianson, the 2014 Nodak Speedway track champion, led the opening lap, but Scholpp—who started seventh—quickly made his way to the front and claimed the top spot on lap four. The five-time defending Estevan track champion wasn’t going to be denied on home soil, even as a trio of mid-race cautions brought the field back to his rear bumper. Horton Survives Chaos to Win Second Sprint Feature of Season at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jul. 5, 2025) — The RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature at Eagle Raceway on Saturday night had multiple red flags and hard-fought battles throughout. Cameron Thompson backed it into the wall on the original start, and the restart saw Cole Wayman collect John Klabunde. Tadd Holliman led early over Justin Bolte, Alex Davenport, and Brandon Horton. Cole Vanderheiden climbed to second by lap 11, then attempted a slide job that sent Holliman into the wall, destroying his car. On the restart, fuel spills from Nate Weiler caused another delay. When the race resumed, Horton led Vanderheiden, Adam Gullion, and Bolte. Gullion flipped on the final restart after contact with Billy Alley, triggering the time-limit rule and ending the race. Horton was declared the winner—his second Racesaver Sprint Car win of the season, both coming at Eagle. Vanderheiden was second and Zachary Patterson third. Hibdon Storms to Jamestown Victory in Dakota Classic Modified Tour Opener

(Jul. 5, 2025) — Kollin Hibdon used the high side of Jamestown Speedway to perfection to score the opening night victory of the 2025 Wolla Trucking Dakota Classic Modified Tour powered by Industrial Electric. The Pahrump, Nevada, native led the final 23 circuits of the 30-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature to earn his second career tour win at Jamestown, fourth career Dakota Tour triumph, sixth win of the season overall, and fifth in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Justin O’Brien grabbed the early lead before a lap four caution reset the field. Hibdon quickly went to work on the top groove, charging to the point on lap seven. Another caution on lap 12 gave defending tour champion Ethan Braaksma a shot at Hibdon, and he put the Danny Meier and Trent Guest-owned No. 111 into second on the restart. Rykhus Wins First of Season at Bumble Bee Nationals

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (Jul. 3, 2025) — Le Center, Minnesota’s Mick Rykhus had long set his sights on the Bumble Bee Nationals. On Thursday night at Kossuth County Speedway, he finally got to celebrate in victory lane with a commanding performance that earned him $1,000 and his first win of the 2025 campaign. Levi Volkert and Charles Prime led the 18-car Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact field to green, with all drivers guaranteed at least $100 to start. Volkert paced the opening circuits until Tyler Thompson took over on lap three, just before a yellow flag slowed the field on lap five. At halfway, Thompson led with Volkert and Rykhus in pursuit. Rykhus surged to the front with seven laps to go and never looked back, holding off Thompson for the lucrative win. Volkert rounded out the podium. Larson Bags Big Bucks at CJ Speedway

By Jerry Mackey COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa (Jul. 4, 2025) — The $1,300 dollar first place prize money drew an excellent field of very talented Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds to the 4/10th mile dirt track CJ Speedway located on the Louisa County Fairgrounds. The 20 lap feature was dominated by past National Modified champion Jeff Larson from Freeport, Illinois. Larson took advantage of a great start from the outside of the front row and put the P.J. Kostenbader-owned no. B1 on the top side of the smooth track and sailed on to the feature win over some of the best Modified drivers in the Midwest. Larson has managed to score seven wins in the Razor Chassis North Central Region in 2025. Logan Veloz of Colona, Illinois stayed within striking distance of Larson but was not able to seriously contend for the win. Veloz crossed under the checkers ahead of Josh Foster. Woods Rockets to Second Straight Outagamie Modified Win

The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event saw Cody Schroeder lead the opening lap from the front row. That lead was short-lived, though, as Skyler Woods blasted the high side on lap two and rocketed into the top spot. Woods was able to fend off all challengers over the balance of the race to secure his second consecutive win at Outagamie and in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Snellenberger Snags Eagle River Speedway $1,000 Payday

(Jul. 1, 2025) — Rod Snellenberger of Pulaski, the 2008 Sunoco IMCA Stock Car National champion and defending Eagle River Speedway track champion, passed Junior Karcz for the lead on lap eight and held off hometown driver Jason Zdroik to win the $1,000-to-win feature Tuesday during the Mark Zdroik Memorial. The victory marked Snellenberger’s fourth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region win of 2025, his third at Eagle River this season, and the 232nd of his IMCA Stock Car career. Dave Bouche jumped into the lead from his pole position at the drop of the green of the 20 lap contest. Bouche mixed it up with Karcz in the first few circuits until a caution flew when Wausau’s Mitch Stankowski stalled on the frontstretch. On the restart, Cole Czarneski blasted into the second spot, and a three car dual ensued for the lead between Bouche, Czarneski and Snellenberger. Andersen Slices Through the Field for Modified Glory at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jun. 28, 2025) — Chad Andersen was on a mission in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature at Eagle Raceway. Cameron Thompson led the opening circuits with Tyler Harr close behind, but all eyes were on Andersen, who steadily picked off cars one by one. He cracked the top three by lap five and slipped into second a few laps later. By lap 12, he powered around Thompson for the lead and immediately began to stretch it out. From there, Andersen hit his marks and left the rest of the field to battle behind him. Harr gave chase but never closed the gap as the laps clicked off. Berry Blazes Field in Marshalltown Modified Main Event

Dustin Kroening sat on the pole, with Jake McBirnie to his outside. But it was Marshalltown native Tom Berry Jr. who made quick work of the field, grabbing the lead early and leaving the rest behind. Berry cruised to a dominant win in the 20-lap finale, while Kollin Hibdon and McBirnie completed the podium. The win was Berry’s third of the season, coming at three different tracks, with two scored in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Carter Slides to SportMod Supremacy Fans were treated to a slide-job clinic in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods.
