Saathoff Sails to Modified Victory After Multi-Car Mayhem

(May 24, 2025) — A wild night at Eagle Raceway in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds ended with Beatrice’s Jaxon Saathoff standing tall for his first Jet Racing Central Region win of the season. Saathoff capitalized on a mid-race shuffle that sent early leader Bob Zoubek to the rear and reset the field. Cameron Thompson and Brandon Verbeek remained in contention throughout the caution-heavy feature, while Shawn Harker made a late push to grab second. Thompson settled for third. Hatlestad Holds Off Late Charge for Arlington Modified Win

(May 24, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds provided a thrilling main event at Arlington Raceway, with multiple cautions and challenges keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Chad Porter jumped out to an early lead and set the pace through the opening laps. But when a caution flew on lap six, Porter was among those who had trouble navigating traffic, opening the door for Clint Hatlestad. Hatlestad seized the opportunity and took over the lead after the restart. Another caution on lap nine tightened the pack once more, but the Glencoe driver remained strong up front. Trent Loverude applied heavy pressure late, drawing to Hatlestad’s rear bumper just before another caution bunched the field for one final sprint. Electrifying Charge to Front Nets Price BAPS Win

By Frank Buhrman YORK HAVEN, Pa. (May 18, 2025) — It wasn’t an easy climb, but Sunday night at BAPS Motor Speedway, Landon Price reached the top of the mountain again and enjoyed the view. Four years and nine months after he last visited victory lane in a River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series feature, Price returned Sunday, after an electrifying charge through the field from 11th starting position. That performance also earned the Fleetwood driver the hard charger award. Despite losing a few entries from the previous night at Carolina Speedway, a strong field of 15 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars put on an incredible show under the lights of Rutherford County. After the redraw, it was Biscuit Williams and Josh Shantz on the front row for the 25-lap main event. When the green flag dropped, Shantz, a former Canadian now racing out of the Carolinas, jumped to the lead and never looked back. Nick Tucker Conquers Chaos at Carolina Speedway

(May 16, 2025) — The Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis brought high horsepower and heart-pounding action to the red clay of Carolina Speedway on Friday night. With temperatures hovering at a warm 86 degrees, the atmosphere was electric, and the fans were treated to a wild night of sprint car racing that saw Nick Tucker of Spanaway, Washington, take the win in dramatic fashion. After the redraw, Jeff Oliver started from the pole position alongside Josh Shantz. The initial green flag didn’t last long, as Gareth Palmer spun in turn one, prompting a complete restart. On the second attempt, Oliver jumped out to an early lead while fending off pressure from Shantz. Heffner Takes Hagerstown Win

Last month at Selinsgrove Speedway, the Watsontown veteran led a good part of the feature only to be passed by Doug Dodson for the win. At Hagerstown Speedway Saturday, there were challenges, but the driver of Cale Reigle’s no. 97 mount wasn’t going to be denied his seventh career trip to the River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series victory lane. Spahr Takes Impressive Selinsgrove Win

For the second week in a row, the River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series feature at Selinsgrove Speedway came down to a duel between Logan Spahr of Lewisberry and Kruz Kepner. Last week, Kepner got to visit victory lane; this week, Spahr earned the trip. The 2023 PASS champion, Spahr battled the “hometown” racer through the middle circuits of the 20-lap event before pulling off the decisive pass for the lead on the backstretch of lap 14, just before the leaders hit lapped traffic. Danley Dodges Late-Race Chaos for Eagle Raceway Sprint Car Win

(May 17, 2025) — Eagle Raceway fans were treated to a rare three-wide start for RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars on Saturday night, an occurrence typically reserved for the annual IMCA RaceSaver Nationals held every Labor Day weekend. Billy Alley started on the outside of row one and immediately took control, leading the opening lap of the 30-lap feature with Tyler Drueke and Joey Danley in tow. John Klabunde jumped to third on lap three and then passed Drueke for second two laps later. Klabunde patiently followed Alley until lap 18, when he seized the lead — only to get caught behind a lapped car, allowing Alley to reclaim the top spot.
