IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars take on Front Row Challenge next Monday

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (July 31, 2023) – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars will run for $1,000 to win, a minimum of $200 to start and an array of contingency awards next Monday, Aug. 7 when Southern Iowa Speedway hosts the 28th annual Sage Fruit Front Row Challenge. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Iowa State points will be awarded. Heat race winners all receive $250 product certificates from Hepfner Racing Products and the hard charger receives a set of Armor seat belts from Ultra Shield Race Products. Schoenfeld gives a set of headers, Elite Wings gives two front wings, Pro gives shocks and other awards are to be announced. There is no entry fee and pit passes at Oskaloosa are $40. Scarborough sweeps Winchester

(July 29, 2023) – John Scarborough had a perfect night Saturday, winning his heat and taking the top spot of the feature at Winchester Speedway co-sanctioned by the Virginia Sprint Series and Laurel Highlands Sprint Series. Twenty-four IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars signed in on what turned out to be a breezy, nice evening. Scarborough and Ryan Lynn paced the feature to green with Scarborough staying low and leaving Lynn to deal with a charging Donnie Hendershot. The track was full of cars and traffic came in to play quickly, bunching up the frontrunners. Scarborough stayed low and worked his way through but not without Hendershot and Lynn staying right on him and sometimes next to him. Hendershot made a run for the lead after getting by Lynn but a yellow for a stalled car slowed the pace. Just like the movies, action at Arlington is fast and furious

ARLINGTON, Minn. (July 22, 2023) – Action was fast, furious and competitive Saturday at Arlington Raceway. The IMCA Hobby Stock feature saw Scott Porter lead from the front row but a yellow came out for a spinning car which restarted the field nine laps in. With only four laps to go, Cory Probst once again pounced and got around both Taylor Manderfield and Porter to take the lead and win. Porter took second and Manderfield was third. Jason Bolte was the early leader starting up front in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature but the biggest battle was between Alan Lahr and Justin Dose for the positions directly behind him. With one lap to go, Lahr was able to get a grip on the track and passed Bolte for the win. Bolte and Dose were next across the stripe. ‘A bunch of people working together’ get free fuel for RaceSaver Nationals drivers

EAGLE, Neb. (July 21, 2023) – What promoter Roger Hadan summed up as the efforts of “a bunch of people working together” will help fuel competitors at the upcoming RaceSaver Nationals. AMARILLO, Texas – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car drivers will have Amarillo on their mind come Saturday, July 29. The Rick Lovelady Carpets Inc.-presented feature that evening will bring RaceSaver competitors from across Texas and neighboring states straight to Route 66 Motor Speedway for a $2,000 to win, minimum $200 to start main event. Racing on the 3/8-mile clay oval at Amarillo begins at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $8 for kids. Heffner joins list of 2023 PASS winners

(July 15, 2023) – Kenny Heffner came out on top of a fierce, three-way battle for the lead Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway, re-taking the top spot from Zach Rhodes with two laps to go to win the 20-lap feature for the River Valley Builders Pennsylvania Sprint Series. Veteran Roger Irvine, who led early in the race and was the other racer in the fight for victory, came home third. The IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car barnburner had a story for each of the drivers seeking the win. For Heffner, the victory was his career fourth and third at Port Royal, but his first since joining with former PASS regular Cale Reigle as car owner.
