(May 9, 2025) — The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks produced a thrilling finish at Thomas County Speedway as Zach Olmstead made a dramatic last-lap pass to edge his brother Morgan Olmstead for the victory. Levi Jones led the early laps before the Olmstead brothers and Dylan Bell surged forward. Zach completed the winning move out of turn four, nipping Morgan at the line for his sixth win of the season in nine attempts in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Dylan Bell crossed the stripe in third after charging up eight positions. Matt Sanders Surges from Ninth to Score SportMod Victory at CGS

By Ben Deatherage COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (May 10, 2025) — Matt Sanders charged from ninth to take command of the 25-lap Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod main event at Cottage Grove Speedway. The 2022 Oregon State and track champion steadily worked his way through the pack, eventually slipping past Garrett Craig for the lead on the backstretch of lap 10. Once in front, Sanders set a blistering pace and opened up a comfortable gap over the field. Craig, who led the opening laps, maintained a strong run in second, fending off multiple challengers as Sanders pulled away. The race for third became the focal point in the closing laps, with Aaron Bloom and Isaac Sanders battling door-to-door until Bloom secured the spot in the final circuits. Hagen Holds Off Wolla for Emotional Modified Victory in Williston Opener

(May 9, 2025) — Travis Hagen capped off a milestone week with a dominant performance in the 25-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at Williston Basin Speedway. A week after he and his wife Makenzie welcomed a baby girl, the eight-time Williston track champion drove to his third win of the season in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Chris Tuchscherer made an early charge, getting around Dalton Flory for second on lap six before the caution waved on lap 10. Hagen nailed the restart, but 2017 National champion Jason Wolla began his march to the front, battling past Tuchscherer to take over second. A final caution with seven laps to go set the stage for a showdown, but Hagen remained calm and composed, pulling away on the restart to secure the victory. Hogge Stays Hot with Ocean Modified Win

(May 9, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at Ocean Speedway saw Jonathan Hagio set the pace early on, until Jim Pettit II drove by after a restart. Bobby Hogge, in the Paul Gugliemoni provided no. 2 entry, then climbed into second and began to hound the rear of the leader. On lap 9 the duo was racing nose to tail, which then saw Pettit get turned to bring out a caution. Hogge, from Salinas, led the remaining distance to grab the win ahead of Robert Marsh and Cody Burke. Hogge’s third win of the season came at his third different track in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region. Ryland Sweeps Soares Memorial with SportMod and Stock Car Wins at Antioch

(May 3, 2025) — Fred Ryland of Brentwood won the 20-lap Karl Chevrolet IMCA SportMod main event at Antioch Speedway during the Soares Memorial paying tribute to former promoters of the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds 3/8-mile oval. This was the second win of the season for the three-time division champion. It was also his 41st career win in this division. Counting his Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature win earlier in the evening, Ryland now has 78 combined victories at the track. Al Johnson set the early pace ahead of Ryland and Trent Golden. A low pass in turn four of the fourth lap gained Ryland the lead from Johnson. State point later Danny Wagner slipped into third on lap 8 and began pressuring Johnson, who was trailing Ryland by a straightaway.  However, Ryland’s big lead was erased by a lap 10 yellow flag. Clay Claims Victory in SportMod Feature at El Paso County

(May 3, 2025) — A strong field of 12 drivers packed the pits of El Paso County Raceway for the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod division, and when the dust settled in the feature, it was Scott Clay of Colorado Springs parking his machine in victory lane. Starting from the pole, Clay led wire-to-wire, fending off heavy pressure in the closing laps to seal the win. His heat win earlier in the evening set the tone for a dominant performance. Christensen Claims First-Ever Stock Car Win in Wild Shelby County Feature

By Don Hawkins HARLAN, Iowa (May 3, 2025) — Riley Christensen thrilled the Shelby County Speedway crowd with a dramatic breakthrough victory in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, leading the final laps of a wild feature that included multiple lead changes, a tangle between frontrunners, and a green-white-checkered finish. Christensen, of Audubon, grabbed the point on lap 1 but was reeled in by Mike Vondrak and Larry Robinson Jr. midway through the race. Vondrak snuck underneath to lead lap 10, but a caution changed everything. Robinson made a move on the restart and got around Vondrak in turn three, but the two made contact, bringing out another caution. Vondrak came to a stop, handing the lead back to Christensen. The two-time Nebraska State champion went toe-to-toe with Wisconsin’s Cole Czarneski in an edge-of-your-seat battle that set the tone for a thrilling 30-lap finale at Clay County Fair Speedway. Czarneski briefly led on lap 3 and their door-to-door duel allowed IMCA TV Winter Nationals champion Shelby Williams to enter the fray. Beeter Battles to Second Nodak Stock Car Win

By Ben Deatherage MINOT, N.D. (May 4, 2025) — The Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars thrilled fans Sunday night at Nodak Speedway, the 3/8-mile oval located at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. Former Williston Basin champion Chris Tuchscherer led early until a lap 6 caution reset the field at the “Playground of Power” and opened the door for a challenge. That opportunity came from Minot’s own Brock Beeter, a three-time North Dakota State Hobby Stock champion and 2023 Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod track titlist. Beeter rolled the inside to perfection and edged ahead of Tuchscherer on lap 7. A late caution erased his sizeable lead, but Beeter nailed the restart and held strong to the checkers for his second EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region win of the season.
