2nd annual $2,500 to win King of the Katwalks IMCA Stock Car special set July 22 at Boone

BOONE, Iowa (July 13, 2023) – The same great sponsors return to support the same great class at the second annual great event for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars at Iowa’s Action Track. Stock Cars run for $2,500 to win and a minimum of $250 to start at the Fox Welding/Vermeer King of the Katwalks presented by VanEaton Pork next Saturday, July 22 at Boone Speedway. Total purse for King of the Katwalks is nearly $14,000 with the winner becoming eligible to qualify for the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. The runner-up earns $2,000 with $1,500 paid for third, $1,000 for fourth, $750 for fifth, $500 for sixth, $450 for seventh, $400 for eighth, $350 for ninth and $300 for 10th. Tow money is $75. Two of the best in the west are IMCA.TV Dakota Tour winners at Southwest

DICKINSON, N.D. (July 12, 2023) – Drivers from, or with close ties to the West Coast have enjoyed their share of success and then some over the course of recent IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Tours. That trend continued Wednesday night at Dickinson, when Californian Jerry Flippo and Arizonan Zachary Madrid made trips to Southwest Speedway’s victory lane. Foulger a double winner while Shrader scores in IMCA SportMod at Antioch

By Candice Martin ANTIOCH, Calif. (July 8, 2023) – Troy Foulger won the 25-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature Saturday night during Antioch Speedway’s eighth annual Hetrick Memorial. Already Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligible, Foulger took home $1,250 on this occasion. Foulger drew the front row for the feature race but Josh Combs jumped into the early lead. Following a yellow flag on lap two, Foulger bolted into the lead with Kellen Chadwick in tow. Bobby Hogge then settled into third before making an inside pass in turn four on lap five to take second from Chadwick. Foulger saw his lead erased by a lap nine yellow flag and had to deal with multiple cautions over the next half-dozen laps, but beat Hogge on each ensuing restart. Best in the West IMCA Modifieds, Northern SportMods to battle at Grays Harbor Shipwreck Beads Nationals

(July 12, 2023) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and SportMods are coming to Grays Harbor Raceway this weekend, July 14 and 15, for the Shipwreck Beads Modified Nationals. Estevan fans cheer Scholpp to IMCA.TV Dakota Tour checkers

ESTEVAN, Sask. (July 10, 2023) – Fans at Estevan Motor Speedway cheered one of their own to the checkers Monday night, when the IMCA.TV Dakota Classic Tour returned to Canada. Hometown driver Kody Scholpp led all but one lap of the 30-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event, taking his first-ever tour win, good for $2,000, ahead of Jason Wolla and Tim Ward. “I’ve never done that great on the tour,” said Scholpp, who had a career-best third place finish the previous night at Minot. “This was my main goal for the tour this year. Johnson comes up big at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. (July 8, 2023) – Rollovers and crashes made for an interesting night for the safety crew at Arlington Raceway on Saturday. A first lap red flag in the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature saw several cars get together in turn two, which resulted in both national points leader Trevor Serbus and Mike Stien rolling their cars. Dave Becker and Owen Carlson also got taken to the pits. The front row was gone so everyone moved up and that gave an opening for Matt Johnson to take the lead and he was a fourth of a lap ahead of the rest of the field. 124 race teams pack pits at Maquoketa Speedway

By Jerry Mackey MAQUOKETA, Iowa (July 8, 2023) – Saturday night the weatherman provided near perfect conditions for racing at the Maquoketa Speedway and the drivers and fans responded by packing the infield with 124 race teams and a really nice crowd took in an action packed program that saw the final checkered flag of the night wave at 10 pm. The IMCA Sunoco Late Models saw 17 drivers take the green flag for their 25-lap feature. One minor caution slowed the feature before a lap was completed, then the main event went flag to flag. Chance Huston led early taking off from his pole position start. Huston had built a comfortable lead before rookie Jaden Fryer was able to close driving around the extreme high line of the quarter mile. While many tracks celebrated the Fourth of July during the previous week, I-37 Speedway celebrated the next weekend, hosting its Military Appreciation Night with free admission to active and retired military, discounts for the rest of their families and loads of service members from the San Antonio bases.
