2024 Prelude to the Super Nationals

Off-track Super Nationals activities centered at NAPA Fan Zone

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 23, 2024) – The NAPA Racing Fan Zone is again the locale for many of the special off-track events during the week of the 42nd annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Located south of the main grandstand at Boone Speedway, the Fan Zone will be site of scheduled and perhaps some spontaneous activities beginning with the Sunday, Sept. 1 Prelude show and continuing through the Sept. 2-7 Super Nationals. “What’s new this year is the Tuesday afternoon Women in IMCA presented by NAPA and Dynamic Drivelines,” noted Carson Becker-Gramm, marketing integration and sponsorship director for IMCA. “Female drivers have played an important role in this organization for more than 40 years. There’s no better time than to recognize them, and maybe get an autograph or two, than during our biggest event.” All female drivers competing at Super Nationals will be invited to display their cars at the fan zone and sign autographs; NAPA will provide shirts they can sign and autograph for fans as well. Points races near end at Off Road Speedway

By Randy Pospishil sports@norfolkdailynews.com NORFOLK, Neb. (Aug. 17, 2024) – With one final night of racing remaining on the Off Road Speedway schedule for 2024, the points races in four IMCA divisions are nearly finished as Championship Night draws near. On Saturday night, Cory Dumpert moved up nine spots from a starting position in the fifth row to earn his fourth IMCA Sunoco Late Model win of the season at Norfolk. Dumpert, who currently sits atop the national IMCA Late Models points list while pursuing his sixth national championship, didn’t get to the front until just seven laps remained. After race leader Matt Haase was passed by Chase Osborne during lap nine of what had been a two-car battle for the lead, Dumpert began to move forward.  Within three laps, Dumpert had joined the leaders, then passed both Haase and Dumpert on consecutive laps to take the lead. That effort was negated when primary points challenger Anthony Roth went into the wall on turn two to force the race’s only caution, but Dumpert immediately returned [Read More]

Look no further than IMCA.TV’s The Inflation Buster-priced coverage of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s Sept. 2-7 at Boone Speedway. For just $169.99, the same price as last year, viewers will enjoy 100-plus hours of the best dirt track racing action on the planet, along with driver interviews and features, both nights of the Aug. 31-Sept. 1 Double Down Prelude and the entire week of the 42nd annual Super Nationals.
