
Richards Charges from 12th to Eagle Raceway Hobby Stock Victory
By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (July 26, 2025) — Tanner Dowty led the early charge in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature, with Nick Jensen, Brad Burhenne, and Matt Rotschafer battling behind. Burhenne moved into second on lap three, while Eric Chab and Dillon Richards methodically advanced through the pack. A caution involving Rotschafer and Ben Becher tightened the field on lap six, and on the restart Richards blasted to the lead. Burhenne faded as Brayden Hurley climbed to third, then second. Hurley passed Chab for the runner-up spot on the final lap, but Richards was long gone. With the win, Richards upped his 2025 total to 11 victories in 12 starts at Eagle and now boasts 36 wins in the division in 2025—28 in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region.
