Serbus Scores Third Straight Dan Grams Memorial at Arlington

(Jul. 12, 2025) — Trevor Serbus captured his third consecutive Dan Grams Memorial RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature victory Saturday at Arlington Raceway — and his fifth win of the 2025 season overall, with four coming at his home track. Brandon Allen led the first lap from the pole before a caution came out when the no. 24R car spun exiting turn four. On the restart, Serbus found speed on the high side and charged through the field to take the lead. Once out front, he set a blistering pace. Brett Allen and Brandon Allen battled for second before another yellow waved on lap six. Brett slipped back to seventh on the restart but quickly recovered and advanced back into second. Andersen Dominates Stock Cars at Eagle From Start to Finish

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jul. 12, 2025) — Chad Andersen put on a clinic in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event at Eagle Raceway, leading all 18 laps from the pole. Once out front, Andersen was untouchable, setting a relentless pace and building a lead of nearly three seconds by the time the checkered flag waved. The caution-free contest played perfectly into his hands as the field stretched out behind him. Kyle Vanover gave chase but couldn’t close the gap, finishing a solid second. (Jul. 10, 2025) — Kyle Pfeifer earned his third EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature win of the season at WaKeeney Speedway in thrilling fashion, edging Jason Rogers at the line in a dramatic finish. Pfeifer, who previously won at Colby and Hays, worked the bottom groove to perfection as he and Rogers went side-by-side in the closing laps of the 20-lap main. Troy Burkhart led early until slipping high and falling from contention. Rogers and Brett Berry swapped the lead before Berry encountered issues. (Jul. 13, 2025) – Chandler, Arizona transplant Ricky Thornton Jr. stormed to a thrilling last-lap victory during the 5th annual Tanner Pelster Memorial at Boone County Raceway, scoring his first Sunoco IMCA Stock Car win of the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and becoming the fifth different winner of the prestigious $10,111-to-win event. The 30-lap main event saw Minnesota’s Jim Horejsi and Iowa racer Maguire De Jong duel for the top spot at the start, with De Jong securing the early advantage. McBirnie, who doubled up on feature wins the week before, worked the high side to perfection and passed Jimmy Gustin for the lead. From there, he began to check out, but Gustin didn’t go quietly. In the final two circuits, Gustin reeled McBirnie back in but couldn’t make the move. Horton Survives Chaos to Win Second Sprint Feature of Season at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Jul. 5, 2025) — The RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature at Eagle Raceway on Saturday night had multiple red flags and hard-fought battles throughout. Cameron Thompson backed it into the wall on the original start, and the restart saw Cole Wayman collect John Klabunde. Tadd Holliman led early over Justin Bolte, Alex Davenport, and Brandon Horton. Cole Vanderheiden climbed to second by lap 11, then attempted a slide job that sent Holliman into the wall, destroying his car. On the restart, fuel spills from Nate Weiler caused another delay. When the race resumed, Horton led Vanderheiden, Adam Gullion, and Bolte. Gullion flipped on the final restart after contact with Billy Alley, triggering the time-limit rule and ending the race. Rykhus Wins First of Season at Bumble Bee Nationals

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (Jul. 3, 2025) — Le Center, Minnesota’s Mick Rykhus had long set his sights on the Bumble Bee Nationals. On Thursday night at Kossuth County Speedway, he finally got to celebrate in victory lane with a commanding performance that earned him $1,000 and his first win of the 2025 campaign. Levi Volkert and Charles Prime led the 18-car Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact field to green, with all drivers guaranteed at least $100 to start. Volkert paced the opening circuits until Tyler Thompson took over on lap three, just before a yellow flag slowed the field on lap five. At halfway, Thompson led with Volkert and Rykhus in pursuit.
