DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Takes Over IMCA Modified Western Region Title Sponsorship

By Ben Deatherage

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (Jan. 19, 2026) — DeVilbiss Racing Chassis is the new title sponsor of the IMCA Modified Western Region, shifting its sponsorship focus west after serving as the Eastern Region title sponsor during the 2025 season. The IMCA Modified Western Region encompasses California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, western Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and northern New Mexico.

“This is totally awesome, and I’m excited for this,” said Zane DeVilbiss. “It feels fitting for me, being from the West. I’ve raced at tracks across that region, and there’s a strong concentration of drivers out there who run my cars.”

DeVilbiss relocated from his native Farmington, New Mexico, to Marshalltown, Iowa, in 2025, positioning his operation in the heart of IMCA country while maintaining strong ties to western racers.

The Western Region has a deep and storied history within IMCA Modified competition. Since its inception, numerous champions have left their mark, including multi-time titleholders such as Dan Fitzgerald, Cory Sample, Chaz Baca Jr., and DeVilbiss himself.

DeVilbiss Racing Chassis builds race cars for multiple Speedway Motors IMCA divisions, including IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites.

“We started building chassis back in 2009 with the first car I built, and we’ve grown ever since,” DeVilbiss said.

This regional title sponsorship is in addition to DeVilbiss Racing Chassis’ sponsorship of the IMCA TV Winter Nationals at Central Arizona Raceway.
