Inaugural Duel at Mohave Boasts $7,777.77 to Win for IMCA Modifieds November 13–15

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (Oct. 2, 2025) — The inaugural Duel at Mohave is set to make a big splash at Mohave Valley Raceway Nov. 13–15, with IMCA Modifieds headlining the three-day spectacular at $7,777.77 to win on championship night. IMCA Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods will also be racing for big money in the desert showcase.

The weekend begins with an open practice on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 6–10 p.m. before three straight nights of racing action. Each evening will feature cash-paying programs, capped by Saturday night main events that also serve as 2026 Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s qualifying races for both the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational and the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational.

Modifieds will race for $500 to win on both Thursday and Friday before chasing the $7,777.77 top prize on Saturday, which also pays $2,750 for second, $2,000 for third, $1,500 for fourth, and $1,250 for fifth. Stock Cars will battle for $500 on Thursday and Friday before racing for $2,500 to win on Saturday, with $1,500 for second, $1,000 for third, $750 for fourth, and $650 for fifth. The Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods will match that Thursday and Friday format at $500 to win each night before their $2,500-to-win finale on Saturday, which also awards $1,500 for second, $1,000 for third, $750 for fourth, and $650 for fifth.

Pre-registration is open now at MyRacePass. Drivers who enter after Oct. 31 will pay an additional $25. All on-site registrations will be accepted in cash only, while pre-entries may be completed with a card. Competitors are also encouraged to secure lodging early by calling the Avi Resort and Casino and mentioning the group rate code GMVR25.

For fans unable to attend in person, all three nights of racing will be streamed live with exclusive pay-per-view coverage on IMCA TV affiliate Dirt Race Central.

Hibdon makes it three straight at Mohave Valley

MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. (March 2, 2024) – There’s just something about Mohave Valley Raceway that suits Kollin Hibdon’s racing style. He’s just not sure what. Hibdon won for the third time in as many Mohave Valley starts this season, topping Saturday’s $2,000 to win Bill and Shirley Meyer Showdown feature for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds. “I don’t know why we’ve been so good here,” he admitted afterwards. “I’ve probably only raced at Mohave Valley a couple times before and I think I finished second both times. BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (Feb. 4-5) – Ethan Dotson won the IMCA Modified feature at $1,250 on opening night of Mohave Valley Raceway’s Bill & Shirley Meyer Showdown. He doubled that payout and swept the weekend with the Saturday night checkers at Bullhead City. Dotson saw his early season success continue in his first-ever visit to Mohave Valley, winning from the ninth starting spot on Friday and taking the $2,500 win from the fifth spot on night two. “This track is pretty different than anywhere I’ve run before,” Dotson said following wins number six and seven on the young season. “We had a pretty good cart both nights. MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. – Where others might only have seen sand and mesquite trees, Walt Carter saw potential in 40 acres of Arizona desert. Zeitner Claims First IMCA Late Model National Championship

(Oct. 21, 2025) — A season that began with frustration turned into one of redemption and resolve for Zach Zeitner, who capped his 2025 campaign by earning his first-ever IMCA Sunoco Late Model National Championship. Zeitner becomes the fourth driver from Nebraska since 1949 to earn IMCA’s Late Model national crown, joining 1996 winner Kyle Berck, 2000 champion Jason Friesen, and Cory Dumpert, who won the last six titles from 2019 through 2024. (Oct. 22, 2025) — For the second straight season, the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock national title came down to a tiebreaker — and for the second straight year, Cory Probst of Brewster, Minnesota, came out on top.
