MONROETON, Pa. (May 29, 2025) — The 2025 NY-PENN IMCA Modified Series roars back to life Friday, June 6, with its highly anticipated season opener at The Hill Speedway. The feature event pays $750 to win and $100 to start, launching the fifth season of competition for one of the premier tours in the DeVilbiss Racing Eastern Region. The event is presented by Cuz Excavating, Aggrock, and Griffin Motor Company of Canton.
The tour has quickly earned a reputation for showcasing some of the Northeast’s toughest and most talented IMCA Modified drivers. As the field assembles for the first race of the new campaign, excitement builds not only for the prize money on the line but also for a full season of competitive racing at some of the region’s top dirt tracks.
Series officials also announced several key sponsor-supported awards that will be up for grabs throughout the 2025 season. The S&S Custom Autobody Hard Charger Award, backed by Steve Williams, will give $50 to the driver who advances the most positions during the feature.
Century 21 Real Estate’s Lacey Maryott has stepped in to sponsor the heat races, providing $25 to each heat race winner during the tour’s season-long run.
Kevin Ryce of Ryce’s Landscape & Lawn Care Services returns with the Hard Luck Award — a $30 bonus given to the driver who suffers the most unfortunate circumstances of the night. Whether it’s a flat tire or a heavy crash, this award recognizes perseverance and provides a small consolation to those whose night didn’t go as planned. The recipient will be chosen by series officials.
With a solid payout, added bonuses, and a hungry field of competitors, the Hill Speedway season opener promises a thrilling start to the 2025 NY-PENN IMCA Modified Series. Fans are encouraged to come out and catch the action as the road to the championship begins.
