VINTON, Iowa (May 28, 2025) — Garrett Gregory, William Gould and Jerrett Bransom each topped their respective divisions in the 2025 edition of the All Star Shootout, earning hard-fought championships in one of the most anticipated IMCA tours of the year.
For Gregory, from Plantersville, Texas, the title marked his first career All Star Shootout championship in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds. He started the week with a sixth-place showing at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore and backed that up with a solid fifth-place effort at Grayson County Speedway. The breakthrough came on night three when Gregory charged to victory at Heart O’ Texas Speedway, and he wrapped up the week with a sixth-place finish at Kennedale Speedway Park to secure the championship.

Drake Findley, making the haul from Bryant, Ark., put together a consistent string of performances to earn runner-up honors in the Modifieds. Findley finished eighth at Ardmore, second at Grayson County, sixth at Heart O’ Texas, and 11th at Kennedale. Chris Morris of Thorndale, Texas, was third in the final standings. His week included a second-place run at Southern Oklahoma, an eighth at Grayson County, a tough night at Heart O’ Texas that resulted in 22nd, and a rebound with a third-place finish at Kennedale.
Veteran William Gould added another chapter to his storied career with a championship run in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars. It was his first title in the division, but his second overall All Star Shootout crown after claiming the Modified championship in 2024. Gould, from Calera, Okla., was on the podium all four nights, beginning with a third-place run at Ardmore, followed by a runner-up finish at Grayson County, and a pair of third-place results at Heart O’ Texas and Kennedale.

Two-time and defending All Star Shootout champion Shelby Williams, of Bonham, Texas, started strong with a runner-up finish at Southern Oklahoma and a win at Grayson County. He was sixth at Heart O’ Texas but a 19th-place run at Kennedale dashed his title hopes, leaving him second in points. Beau Collins, of Savoy, Texas, also had a strong week to claim third. After running sixth at Ardmore and struggling with a 21st at Grayson County, he rebounded with a second at Heart O’ Texas and another sixth at Kennedale.
The Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods championship went to Jerrett Bransom, who was a model of consistency throughout the tour. The Burleson, Texas, driver never finished outside the top five. He opened with a third at Ardmore and then rattled off back-to-back wins at Grayson County and Heart O’ Texas. Bransom finished fifth at Kennedale to lock up the title.
